What did you think of the Broncos draft.......

Clady was the right pick there in the first round, I was stunned by the Vatech reciever in the second. We cant stop the run, we needed speed at linebacker and a big d-tackle

I do like the running back pick from ASU.

I thought overall it was a average draft, we needed to do much better than we did.

I agree with you completely. I love the Clady pick, although I'm relying on what scouts are saying about him more than I am my own eyes. I just haven't seen him play much. A little video, but that's it. He looks like a good athlete for his size.

The second pick shocked me, too. I'm sure you were wondering why they didn't grab Jackson while he was still on the board. Both are small guys, but you and I have seen what Jackson can do and it would have been a nice addition to the return game. Maybe this Hokie will work out, though.

From what I've seen of Torain, I like, but I didn't pay too much attention to him this past season so I couldn't say for sure. Shanahan said he believes the kid has first round talent. I don't know about that.

Spencer Larsen was Arizona's most consistent defender for the past three seasons. He's limited athletically but he's a great football player. Reminds me of former Wildcats Marcus Bell and Tedi Bruschi.

The draft was average. The first round pick was solid, but I agree, they fell short of making a significant upgrade in some positions of need. Safety, defensive line, linebacker and a 2nd receiver are all things the Broncos needed to improve on and they didn't.

I watched Torian alot last year, he is very good. ASU did not have the line he needed to get noticed.

What did you think of the WR pick ups of Colbert, Darrell Jackson and Sammy Parker?? I just dont know, we will have to see how the fit into the system.

I like pick up of Bailey at LB, though we needed alot more.

The Royal pick really stunned me because of the free agent pick ups. Jackson had a bad year in SF but there passing game was a mess, same with Parker in KC.

I think all of the receiver pickups are going to be insignificant. Royal might be able to help the return game, but I don't see him being a productive receiver any time soon. Bailey is a good addition. The team still has a long way to go before they become legitimately competitive again. Cutler, Marshall and Williams are a good core, though.

Oh, you guys got D-Jack?  Have fun watching all those bullets from Cutler bounce off his hands right to the defenders.
