I think what's incredible is Goodell continues to back the Patriots up on this issue.
First Belichick denies doing it, and Kraft denies all knowledge of anything and distances himself from Belichick, then Beli, goes from "no I didn't" to "well I didn't know I couldn't do that".
Meanwhile the back story to support that claim is "the tapes are for future use". If you're playing a superbowl game what future could there be after the Superbowl????
Walsh meanwhile says he knew what they were doing was not legal according to the NFL guidelines,.........while Beli says Walsh was just a camera man and couldn't know what was right or wrong,.........that sounds like he's saying he was counting on Walsh knowing it was the wrong thing and not know any better, which supports the idea that they were going to do it until they got caught and then claim ignorance of the guidelines supporting that offense as their excues.
The question is why would Walsh say he knew it was wrong if he didn't know it was wrong and why is his role in this so integral if he doesn't have knowledge of the ramifications of the offense?
And doesn't Beli saying Walsh was just a camera man, only support the idea that he knew he was violating league rules and just did it until he got caught? But the biggest question is why does Goodell continue to back the Patriots?
He suspends players for off field actions that have no impact on the game at all, and when someone does something that could ultimately affect the outcome of a game, he slaps them on the wrist and lets them go on their way.
What's wrong with this picture????????????????????
