In my humble opinion what bothers me the most aren't the New England Patriots.  Rather it is that classless-poor sportsman you have for a head coach.  And what I mean by this is the fact all teams cheat.  Probably still do.  But what I saw from this fella last year more than sealed my unflattering opinion.  His antics against the Redskins were classless/bush league.  His actions in the last few seconds of the superbowl were down right embarassing.  Couple that with the fact he cheated after receiving the memo from the league all add up to one thing...a disingenuous person whom I use to teach my children what it means to play sports with class and dignity and what it looks like when you don't.  And its sad because the Patriots are a great team.  They have accomplished feats most fans of other teams dream of.  It's just unfortunate that this gentleman is the face of your team.  And he, a coach...A COACH-above all others should stand for the ideals in which we believe sports teaches us.  As the face of a professional sports franchise, winning aside, he has disgraced your team, city and the sport of professional football.

Very well stated!

We should be more worried about Senators like Specter actually run our government. I'd be embarrassed if he were my Senator.

I think the people of Indiana are still looking for Senator Burton's brains from the Clemens hearing and wondering how they keep electing the adulterer.

This Country is in horrible shape and this is where our taxes go, Specter using his elected power for his own agenda, he should be taken out in the alley and beaten with the Matt Walsh's stolen videotapes. He pulled a fast one over on everyone, getting full immunity to turn over stolen property and there are also rumors he stole memorabilia from the Pats. Smart move on his part to avoid prosecution.

I appreciate what you are saying los923-a senator running around trying to bump up his legacy by busting sports teams is truely a waste of our tax dollars.  That said I can understand were he's coming from.  Cheating and a lack of sportsmanship cannot be allowed to permeate our national psyche.

Cheating shouldn't be allowed and they paid a price, some think excessive, some think not enough.  I heard earlier on a talk show that Reid and the Eagles don't want this investigated because right now this may be heading towards investigating every team thoroughly, contacting ex players and employees and finding all the rules that are being violated by every team (Including Dungy and the Colts) over the last few years.

Specter should of been better prepared, he wanted to know why Goodell didn't interview Walsh about what the Pats were doing in 2004, 05, and 06 and that would be (all together now) because they fired him for taping conversations, stealing and lying on his resume.
