What a shocker, they put the pat as number 1 for the 4th year in a row. That wasn't the stupid part. They gave the Steelers draft a c-, but said all positives about each pick. Also, they think the Browns will win the division and us the 6th seed (win another ring that way). But we haven't reached the worst part. They didn't even put Willie Parker as a top-20 back, behing guys like barber, johnson, grant, portis, lynch, Jamal Lewis, bush, earnset graham, henry, maroney, mcgahee, and freakin Kevin Smith (yes the rookie) I mean did they forget him? Shows there's no pats bias there...cough cough....

wow. thats some suprising stuff considering the usa today is a professional and wide known paper...but for some reason im not at all suprised. its a good thing when there are less expectations for the stillers before the season...idk it seems like they play better when theres less pressure to be the best. go Steelers

Hey; let the naysayers speak what they feel. That's what makes us successful. We like being the underdog. So let them continue to speak down on us and what we have and do. With Willie Parker not being in the top 20, that can fuel him up to maybe win the rushing title. Remember he could have had it had he not got injured in week 15. But wow; behind backs like Earnest Graham, Travis Henry, and a rookie in Kevin Smith; they must really not like us.

USA Today has homer writers, the only person I feel really calls them black and white is Peter King of Sports Illustrated. Remember the draft??? They spent more time man-loving Babybunch and the rest of the league they blew off analysis of some of our picks. Well consider the source, ESPN, the only way I watch those jagovs is if the Steelers are playing MNF. Then I immediately hit the mute button and tune in the radio. As much as I despised Michael Irving, his football IQ is far superior to Steve "Meatstick" Young.
Being the Underdog, yeah I like it, always had a thing for Sweet Polly Purebread. Hey, she was no Judy Jetson, but she was doable. LOL.

ya i got it the other day, and I was very dispointing. Every year everyone dogs the Steelers, and yet every year they seem to do good and overcome every adversity. Screw every one whos a hater.

nybites,
How about Natasha from Rockie and Bullwinkle? That russian accent.. deeper voice... lol...
Everybody has their opinions about where we will end up - last year most of these so called experts had us finishing 3rd or 4th in our division.. Even with a rash of injuries.. we finish 1st.... Have no fear... Underdog is here!
Steve Young sounds like a fence post talking on TV.. he is terrible and adds nothing.
enjoy,
bb

No big deal. I would rather be #1 at the end of the year instead of at the beginning.

Great point, stay away from the main board, that is all the Patriot homers are talking about, pre-season rankings and why they should be number 1. Personally I think number 2 fits them better. (doo doo)
