everyone has a love fest for the Patriots. On draft day espn loved the pats picking kevin o'connell to the pats because he gives them 3 good backups???????? Then hated dixon because we are solid at starter? Those guys said no team should get mayo until the late 1st but thought it was brillant that he was pick number 10. They don't even realize everyone hates them.

back to usa today. They would not acknowledge that faneca was a bad pass blocker and that that was our problem last year. Maybe if they justified why we deserve a C for our draft grade but they didn't, the most negative thing was"stuck behind four other tackles, but only one is signed beyond this year." Even thats wrong, eessex, colon, starks, and smith all have 1 year left. What they say about Jeff Reed "He's strong."

I don't even get why people but the Browns as the favorites because of some offseason moves, one to get a guy who can disrupt they're chemistry., and the terrible secondary got even worse. Let them pick the pats for a 4th year in a row, watch them choke again.

Here's a gem I found on espn about the Giants "teams other then the Patriots aren't supposed to repeat as Super Bowl Champions" I think that shows who they root for.

nybites I love the avatar, I hate that witch, there's even cartoons in the back of my history room making fun of hilary. One has bill next to her saying "I am only just a supporting oartner" then next comic shows bill clinton with a to do list to the ceiling. The best one is a couple watching tv and the announcer says "Hilary Clinton will run in 2008" and the couple looks scared as hell and the guy says "don't worry maybe she's just running through central park." I really can't find 5 kids at the sv 9-10 building who like hilary, akk crude and funny remarks.

One more reason they are love them, OTL had a poll saying o you consider belichicks pats cheaters. The OTL guy said the answer may surprise you, it was 71% that said yes and, of course, the new england states said no.

Just playing devil's advocate here...

The C- must be because we didn't get the line help that we so deperately needed.  We all know that the best offensive linemen were all gone by the time the Steelers drafted, and drafting the next best offensive lineman at that point would have been reaching for something - so instead we get Mendenhall and Sweed - to excellent picks - but I guess they didn't put that into their little equation.

As far as Parker, the only thing I can think of is that they forgot about him (which would be embarrasing for them) or if they feel that since he will now be splitting carries with Mendenhall and since he is coming off of an injury - they just downgraded him.

They may feel that the Steelers will have a hard time winning the division because they play the toughest schedule in the NFL.  We will see on that one.

I don't agree with any of it, of course, but I'm a homer.

my two cents....
