There are always those teams that look great on paper, had a great year previously and simply suck.  There are also teams that have alot of people behind them for no reason, and they simply suck too, my top five sucking teams are, in no particular order.

1.) Bucs

2.) Cowboys

3.) Titans

4.) Redskins

5.) NY Jets

The first 4 made the playoffs, and outside of the cowboys I think they are not going to make the playoffs, the Cowboys I think are going to have a dip and be a wild card team.  The Jets are getting alot of talk about improving, they have no QB and it's going to show.

interesting list.  I guess the Jets wouldn't be considered taking a dive as they only won 4 games... just not improving as much as some people hope.

I would put Cleveland on there as a possibility.  They have some talent, but a lot harder schedule this year, and could take a step back before another one forward.

Packers are a possibility too.  They have a good young D, but lets see how the offense sans-Favre goes.

Of course the real surprises will be the ones that struggle with injuries/age, so no use predicting there (think Baltimore last year, or St. Louis)

In my opinion, if the Jets don't win at least 6 games, they will have taken a dive.

This might sound odd, but when you give out as much money as they did in the off-season, you are expected to win more.

The NYY don't pay out 200 million to be .500. Neither does any NFL team.

I don't understand how the Redskins were as good as they were last year. Their QB is mediocre, their WRs are mediocre, their running back is second tier. Their defense got exploited (especially in that beat down by NE).

The Titans have a great defense. I'm not sure what will happen. VY is a young QB (no offense but he also has 'a lot of potential'). They could be really good. They made the playoffs in one of the hardest divisions in the NFL.

My list for taking a dive is as follows:
Steelers
Colts
Chargers
Raiders (see above)
Bucs

The Chargers and Colts will make the Playoffs, but they won't be as dominant this year as they were last year.

Man...it must really suck when your team has 5 INT's and still cant win right....Geez...i feel your pain...

anyhow...you dont give any reason as to why these teams will take a dive...Are you just guessing?...

The reasons as to why these teams will dive are as follows.

1.) Bucs, they are getting older on defense and I don't see Garcia or another QB stepping up, they also don't have a playmaker to go opposite Joey Galloway that is also getting up there in age.

2.) Cowboys, I'm not a fan of Romo, I think he's going to stuggle alittle, T.O. if getting up there in years and they lose a good back in Jones, also Wade Phillips knows that he's on the hot seat with Jason Garret as his offennsive coordinator because he's the next coach by all accounts, I think also, thelocker room is a poweder keg.

3.) Titans, they are in a very tough division, did they get Vince Young any real help? No, I don't see them making the playoffs.

4.) Redskins, new head coach, they have a huge hole to fill in Sean Taylor and are in a tough division, it's going to be a down year.

5.) Jets, a trendy pick to be better, but again, they don't have an answer for the OB question, and yes they have upgraded, but there still number 3 in the AFC east, Thomas Jones is also not a number one back.

I don't care how good someone's in shape, a 20 something year old can take those hits and make those cuts alittle better then a 30 year old.  T.O. is by no means in his prime, his prime was the end of the 49er's and the one year he was with philly.   Marion Barber has never been a full down back or been the guy he shouldered the load with Jones, yes he got into the end zone, but that was the 5 yard line and in, the guy coming in to replace Jones is Felix Jones, un-proven and wasn't the guy in Arkansas either.  So there are questions abut the running game.  Romo has had good seasons, but there is something about his game i don't like. I'm not seeing the 14-2 team, I'm seeing a wildcard instead.

Wade coached the Buffalo Bills, I've seen him head coach, don't expect him to rally his troops.

Again, Dallas is going to make the playoffs, but be number one seeded, it's not going to happen.  10-6.  Maybe 11-5.  but things have degraded in Big D.
