No Way in Hell!!

Cliff Lee has been one of the top 3 SP in fantasy this season and McLouth has been better than Papi thus far.

Justin Verlander has been horrible and doesn't appear to be getting better

You have Lee and McLouth? Take the deal and don't look back! It's a classic sell high buy low, and could lead you to a champoniship this year once Verlander and Ortiz get going. Trust me, if you decline this deal, you will regret it for months.

Ask for a  better pitcher in return than Verlander.

I think something is going on with Verlander, and you will not get the pitcher from the last two years.

I usually agree with 14 straight's comments, but i really can't disagree any stronger with this one.

I think there is something wrong with Verlander.  How else do you explain the 5-6 MPH drop in his velocity this season.  He has been getting hit very hard.

David Ortiz for McLouth is a no-brainer, But your pitching will severely suffer if you pull this deal

The tiger's pitching coach thought that with V using about 90% of his speed, he could in turn spot his pitches better.  Atleast that's the word around Detroit where I live.......apparently that school of thought has backfired.

How do you explain the drop in velocity that just about all young flame throwers experience? They tone down the MPH to hit the corners. It obviously hasn't worked for JV, but he looked much better in has last outing. The stuff is still there, and the results will join soon enough. Take the deal before the other guy sees that!

Wow, this is extremely tough, because Verlander will get it going sooner or later.  Also, Ortiz may finish with better numbers than McLouth, he's turned it on as of late.

make the deal as fast as possible! like the one dude said, sell high buy low! lee is pitching out of his ass right now, and thats not likely to continue! Big papi is turning things around, as long as his knee is getting better, and verlander will turn it around! Mclouth has been a great surprise, but will he continue? most teams probably pitch around him more if he does, he has no protection!

make the deal!
