In the first 4 starts of the season before his injury the team was 4-0 in those games and he had a 0.96 ERA and a 0.64 WHIP. Since his injury and skipped start he's made 4 starts and has a went 1-3 and Sheets has a 5.84 ERA and a 1.46 WHIP

The team would've been better off with him on the DL because he is hurting us pitching the way he is right now. He never gives up 6 runs in an inning, this is not the same Benny as we saw to start the season

That ERA and WHIP is obviously a little skewed because of the 6 run inning yesterday.  Look at it as an aberration.  The Brewers had a relatively long bottom of the 5th inning with Billingsley working slowly and the Brewers getting a few baserunners.  Sheets sat in the dugout for 25-30 minutes and late in a game for a power pitcher such as himself, that's tough to come back out and still be "in the groove" you were in when you left.  Benny isn't a ground ball pitcher, he pounds the strike-zone and makes you earn everything.  His curveball was hanging and his fastball lost a few mph's.

I'm not concerned, he's still this staff's ace.

citron could be correct, he could be hurt and not letting on or he could just be feeling the pressure of havng to be the "guy" everytime he takes the mound.  Either way, we will know in his next couple of starts.

He is still our best pitcher by far.  I wish we had him for at least one of the games in Boston.  We are facing their top 3 pitchers and it would be nice to have him as an equalizer in one of those games.
