Go Utah to take that series to 7 games so neither team gets extra rest. That way WHEN the Spurs beat New Orleans Monday night, Utah and LA will be playing their game 7 later that night. With all the Hornets injuries I wish we were playing Saturday night for the wrapup. I'm sure Chandler will recoup, but West looked pretty bad. Thank goodness TNT has the game, and I don't have to listen to that bozo Stephen A Smith et al yap about how the Hornets will be too much for the Spurs, this is the end of the run, etc, etc, etc. I'm sure we will have some significant changes to the lineup next year outside of Tony, Manu and Tim, but we ain't bringing in 9 new players. As to the game Monday night, we have to replicate the formula we've employed at home. We can't expect to shoot 11 for 21 from 3 land on the road. Get the ball in the paint early with kick outs as needed to jump shooters, but not to the extent that we become stagnant on the inside. On defense, make Paul beat us with his scoring. We're not going to win by 20 on the road, but if we play like last night with Timmy scoring on the inside and playing great D (along with the rest of the team) and Tony penetrates the lane like he's capable, then if we don't shoot but around 30% from 3 land, we can still win this game either down the stretch or by about 10.
GO SPURS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
