	I'm sorry but this is the most stupid thing I have ever heard. I am a amputee myself, I would never try to compete with other compedeters that have all there limbs. They have a special olympics for people that are missing a limb. Is this guy a "IDIOT"? I'm sorry but I hope that he does not make it. All he is tring to prove is that he is a "IDIOT" I hope that every person that he is going up againist. They kick his butt !!!!!!

	You realize that the reason this ruling is so controversial is that he has dominated all the competition he has faced, right? It's not that the artificial limbs give him a disavantage; it's that they arguably give him too much of an advantage. He will probably make it with ease because his artificial limbs are designed perfectly for this type of activity.

	Where do you draw the line in terms of NOT allowing guys to compete? How about somebody with an artificial big toe? It can't be removed for the race because it's necessary for balance. Can he compete? What about somebody with an artificial arm? Can he run a race? Is it unfair if he removes the arm because it lowers wind resistance?

	Good points sunshipball, but does this guys blades weigh the same as normal legs? Do the blades lower wind resistance? I would think that things like this were researched before this ruling. One would think that an issue like this has come up before, what happened in those rulings? I really do not think that he will qualify anyway.

	I didn't know you could amputate a brain. ".....they have a special olympics....". That would be the Paralympics.
