There is always some question if extended time off will throw off a teams rhythm.  I'm confident the rest will be an advantage for a veteran team like the Pistons.  Both the Cavaliers and the Celtics looked they they could use a break in last nights game.  That was really ugly!  I realize you can't be too overconfident but I like the way things have gone so far for the Pistons.  Boston has now had two 7 game series.  I think they will win on Sunday but wonder if playing two tough series has taken a toll on their aging big 3?

My only worry in the next series is the Pistons play with the same intensity as they did the whole series against Orlando. Even though they lost game three it wasn't due to lack of effort. I thought this was the first series since Flip has been on the sideline they didn't take one night off.

When the stakes are this high and the competition is this stiff you can't take one night off. If they do, the other team gains confidence and the series gets that much tougher.

Just like Sheed said in the team hudle during the 2004 NBA Finals...."We have to be hungry." If they are hungry (and healthy) they will be in great shape no matter who they play.

Both the Cavs and Celtics have had two grueling series. The rest will be an advantage definitely for the Pistons. It's not often that a team gets the much practice time late in a season. They should be healthy, Billups hamstring, and ready to go. They seemed to kick it into gear during the Philly series and haven't let up.
