Everyone needs to just relax I just don't see Armando Galarraga going anywhere. Even though we all sometimes take pot shots at the coaching staff they didn't walk off the bus yesterday. As of today Armando Galarraga is the Tigers best starter. Not the man with the best stuff, but the best starter. He has a whip of 1.00 which is #4 behind Cliff Lee, Shaun Marcum, Dan Haren and Brandon Webb. He also has 4 QS in 6 games and the tigers have won 5 of the six games he strarted. In fact every game he has left the Tigers have had a chance to win except his lone loss where he gave up 4 runs to the Twins ( although only two earned ). The only issue I have is that he tends to run out of gas after the sixth inning, however this is his first stint really as a full time starter in the bigs.

Not getting the info anywhere. Just stating the fact that Armando Galarraga has pitched the best of any of the starters and even though we make fun of the coaching staff at times. I don't think they are foolish enough to take him out of the rotation at this time. I would bet Robertson goes to the pen for long relief and Freddie Dolsi probably goes back to AA. This is of course assuming Willis actually finds his control.

well i dont know where u get you info from but leyland said in an interview the other day that when willis is ready armando is going down.I read something on MLB.com that said Willis is going to the bullpen and Galaraga will stay in the rotation until they can fix dontrelle. That is a much better idea than replacing armando with Dontrelle.

Okay let me be clear about this. I am not saying Galarraga is going to continue pitching the way he is . But he has whip of .99 there are 3 other pitchers being Cliff Lee, Shawn Marcum and Brandon Webb with a whip under 1. So Dontrelle Willis will not replace him with those numbers.

There is no way they were going to remove Galarraga from the rotation when he has been the one bright spot for the starting pitchers, let alone the entire team.  Still not sold on Willis but he has a chance to prove himself coming out of the pen.
