It all looks goods on paper,it should be a interresting year the afc east is loaded with talented teams. I think it might play ou like this.

  1. Gaints
  2. Cowboys
  3. Eagles
  4. Redskins

  1. Colts
  2. Jags
  3. Texans
  4. Titans

The East is a tough division and it could be argued that they are as tough as the South.  I give the edge to the South though.  As I mentioned on your post, the Texans who lost most of their top flight talent on offense to injury finishing 8-8 is a huge accomplishment.  They will be a team to watch next year and will make the South even more interesting along with a reloaded and Colts team who should be better with a lot of young defenders getting a years experience and a Jags team that has probably improved their pass rush in addition to last years playoff team the Titans.

Colts fan 1863, I agree with your rankings except for the Giants and Cowboys as I would swap them.  The Cowboys will win the East again but will likely lose in the playoffs again.  The Giants will be 2nd.

I've glossed over this argument with a couple of posters here in the past.

The NFC East is Tougher than the AFC South.

Reasons?

1.  The Skins, Giants, Eagles and Cowboys are all better than the Jags, Titans, and Texans

2. Three out of the four teams made the playoffs...

3.  All four NFC East teams are far closer to seriously competing than the rest of our division

4.  None of the teams in the NFC East own each other like we own the rest of our division

5.  We are the only team in our division to ever win (or even make it to) a SuperBowl

6.  Every team in the NFC East can legitimately compete for a championship next year... our division?  Not so much.

I hate to say it, but the AFC South is comprised of one real team (us) and three other pushovers....

you're certainly allowed to express you opinion and you have (and I hope you feel all soft and fuzzy for having done so).  However, you might want to check your facts............3 AFC South teams were in the playoffs last season: Jags, Titans & Colts...............also, you may want to check the box score for Super Bowl XXXIV.

Yep.  I'll admit I was wrong on a couple of things.

1.  The Titans did manage to lose a Super Bowl...

2.  The Titans also were one and done in the playoffs.

But the other teams in the AFC South still suck... and that's %100 accurate.
