todays loss was a gift for the Cardinals....the Rays have hit the ball well enough to win the last 2 games but the pitching has pailed them...edwin jackson pitched well enough to win again today but the bullpens performance was awful.....they couldnt throw a strike to save thier lives...it was pretty sickening to see them walk cesar izturas 3 times alone.....jim hickey needs to get in these guys ears and send a message.....we turned a potential sweep into a 2-1 series loss.....its still a young team thats going to make mistakes and i realize that.....al reyes is not pitching well right now.....he is either still hurt or age is catching up to him but im thinking hes not the guy i want to see on the mound in a close game.......hopefully they can get it turned around in oakland tomorrow....

Two bad losses but your going to win a few and lose a few, your right about Reyes but at least he got out of his jam while some of the others couldn't.  Crawford has speed but he's not a good defensive outfielder, just an outfielder who happens to have speed.  Anyway we all knew that the pen was going to have to come back to reality after a while, personally the guy I am not a big fan of is Miller, I just don't like him that much.  They've played well though, I think they should be able to score more runs too with the amount of hits they have put together, but the good thing is these 2 losses were not because the other team was better, it's because we made some stupid mistakes or had a bad pen day, they are still looking very good.

Was watching the game from work today(firefighter/paramedic), got a 911 call heading into the top of the 8th, up 3-2 I was already upset seeing the two runs up on the board after having a 3-0 lead, which by all accounts should have been 5-0, but alas came back to the station to see that we lose it. Glover got touched again it seems from the stats as well as Miller. Howell was all over the place and Jackson was losing the strike zone in the 4th and 5th. This is a game we should have won. I missed yesterdays game as well, good thing my son begged me to take him golfing or else Id really be in a foul mood, this one is bad enough!! Anyway like you said Buccs, we have to accept the growing pains, and not expect to win them all or even give a couple back here and there, but to lose a series that we should have won is just a bitter pill to swallow, hopefully they make Oakland pay for these last 2 games.
