It's over. Biron was horrible on Sunday, and fairly useless all series. Briere gets to cash his $10m paycheck, having done nothing this series. Hatcher looks older and slower every day. And Timmonen made a really big impact, eh?
I hope Stevens stays as the coach, because he's shown an incredible ability to ignore the obvious, and not adjust his tactics. He continued to engage in an up-and-down skating game with a younger, faster, more talented team. Oops. And for all of you that defend him for the "remarkable turnaround", look to your GM, not your coach. Your GM upgraded the pieces, and Stevens demonstrated he doesn't know how to coach them.
I look forward to thrashing this Flyers team for years to come.
