With the 9th pick in the draft I dont believe there is anything that the Bobcats can benefit from in this draft. This team is in desperate need of a solid veteran. preferably a big man (ie. Amare Stoudemire). I believe Bobcats have enough pieces if necessary to package with this pick and pull off this trade.

Amare Stoudamire is most likely not available. A more realistic option, in my opinion, would be Zach Randolph.

Zach Randolph is an underachieving and overpaid player. We do not need players like Randolph on our team. As for Stoudemire, there is no way we could acquire him for the number 9 pick.

The Bobcats should use the pick on a big man because it is unlikely Emeka Okafor will resign with the team.

If Emeka is unlikely to sign with the team then you trade him and the #9 pick for Amare Stoudemire.

The Suns have been shopping him the past couple seasons and it would bring them a future defensive standout as well as some change. There is no way they wouldnt make this deal, not to mention Amare has nothing in his contract to prevent a trade.

IF oak really is leaving then this would be the best way to go instead of drafting someone at #9 who likely wont amount to much of anything in a relatively weak draft after the first 2 picks.
