Hello Husker fans... I'd like to know who was the best fullback you knew. If there's certain individual I didn't know, vote Other and then post on player's name.
Back in Tom Osborne's coaching days, he used most of fullbacks in the past. In Bill Callahan era, I didn't see he used fullbacks much but mostly for blocking.
I'd take Cory's toughness, Franks running ability and Rathman's receiving ability out of the back. It just depends on what your looking for in a fullback.

Road Clearer- Cory Schlesinger
Cory got the NCAA titles, but you have to say the Tom Rathman had the better pro career. He was a key player on the 49ers early Super Bowl team with another Husker great, Roger Craig.
I still remember the TV closeups of Rathman and Craig when the 49ers were playing because they both had Huskers stickers on the front of their helmets in between the top two bolts that held their facemasks on.
