Good game. Hard fought game and series by the Pistons, but the Celtics are finally back in the NBA Finals! Congrats to them, and hope we beat the Lakers. Now we countdown to the Finals and the TV execs dream of Celtics-Lakers.
(I know theres a lot of controversy with the poor officiating, but I think that even though it was not consistent and sometime downright dreadful, it was at least somewhat even with both teams getting about an equal amount of fouls.)
But more importantly, did anyone notice that they played "The Final Countdown" at least 3 times that game? Once during the player intros, once during the 3rd, and once during the 4th quarter. I know the Celtics played it after player intros for their home games. Is it just these two teams, or do more venues play it? and how frequently? It was rated as one of VH1's Most Awesomely Bad Songs Ever. I like the song, it gets stuck in your head, but three times during one game is too much. That's why the Pistons lost...bad music.
