"Tommy Tuberville now officially delusional hater"

Then again, maybe you are the delusional one.  No knock against the buckeyes, but they certainly would not have made it to the NCG if they were playing in the SEC last year.  They wouldn't even had made it to the SEC CG.  The Cotton Bowl or Capital One Bowl is more realistic.  Yet, a "down year" in the Big 10 and media hype breezed OSU to yet another easy championship game bid last year.  You can't seriously think that you would have excelled to elite status in the SEC last year, can you?  After all, THAT would be delusional.  I like OSU unlike most people, but 3rd, 4th or 5th seems about right to me considering what I and the rest of the nation has seen from them recently.

Congratulations on beating a 6-6 CU team.  I'm pretty sure I wasn't born or I was a toddler so, no, I don't remember it, but what relevance does it have to last year or this year?  I can't see any.  You are long gone from the days of the Bear or even Gene Stallings.

Also, did it ever occur to you that he was just making an honest observation instead of a personal jab at your team?  The media can sometimes spin a statement into something it was not originally intended to convey.

It's all speculation.  Can I say that they would for sure have finished 1st, 2nd or 3rd, no.  But it's not outside the realmj of possibility.  Yes, they got beat by LSU but that doesn't mean the other teams would beat them.  Tubbs came out and said they would have finished 5th, that is just ignorant speculation.

Ah, yes, Bama who lost to UL-Monroe, they are great.  Auburn lost to USF and should have lost to K-State without some home-town reffing.  Arkansas, who didn't know the forward pass was legal last year.  How did South Carolilna end up?  Kentucky barely beat an FSU team that had, what, 20-30 players suspended.

ferijagger. Do this simple math exercise. Take the final score from all the teams you listed, Bama, Aurburn, Arky, South Carolina and Kentucky. Subtract LSU score from their score. Compare that to the final LSU/OSU score.

Q) Who lost by the most points out of all those "bad" schools?

While you are doing that, remember that  margin of difference of ALL 5 teams combined was 17 points by LSU.

I can see why you are angry then.  I would hate for Trussell to make a comment like that about my team but I still think this is media hype.  Maybe it will inspire OSU.  But, you have to admit, Tommy "T" usually doesn't make comments like this.

jawja you make good points and I cant argue at all.  But in regards to the honest observation... why single out a team?  When you make a statment like that it becomes a jab... however I dont entirely diasgree with him, but it isnt something you say.  If Ron Zook said Auburn would finish 4th in the big ten... this board would blow up in mass hysteria... when really he would just be making an honest observation in his opinion
