So the senior sale started at 7 a.m. on monday and didn't end till 4 pm and 89% of seniors who wanted tickets got them.

The junior sale started at 7 a.m. on tuesday and ended in less than 5 minutes and, while i luckily got tickets, most of my friends did not.

Penn State completely dropped the ball on this one by dividing tickets poorly and there are going to be a lot of complaints a even more scalping, the one thing they were trying to avoid.

Just thought people should know

What are they charging students for season tickets nowadays?

What are knowledgeable students saying about our chances this season?

204 for tickets, 15 for "the official" white out shirt

Call me a homer, but i see 10-2 or 11-1 this season.  I do think we win in camp randall unlike many others, but not at the shoe.  I think they may drop a disappointing road game and the stretch from Illinois to Iowa is absolutely brutal, and if the team can survive that with only 1 loss, the season will finish at 11-1 and be the second big 10 team in a bcs game.

I think more than 2 losses is below expectations, even with a new qb and no sean lee.  The lines are tremendous, and that is where you should win games.  Royster and Green should be a great tandem at rb, and while i would love to see a rotation at qb or devlin starting, i think clark will get the call.  The secondary will struggle against fast receivers on teams with good olines.  Any team with a weak o line should be dominated by maurice and the boys which will force up some poor passes.  I hope our qb can just hit receivers and manage the game and turn the ball over very few times.  I hope d will and quarless break out, but i wouldn't count on both of them.  That's just a small synopsis cause i gotta go to work, but i hope that's what you were looking for

I agree there are a lot of expectations. I am thinking 10-2 as well maybe ..... I dare not say it ou loud yet.

The player leadership will determine the destiny of this team. Remember 2005? MRob said at the beginning of the year, "These are our goals. We will work to achieve them." That, boys and girls, is LEADERSHIP. Sean Lee can still influence attitudes -- maybe better from the sideline than he could on the field, since he can watch the entire game with full intensity -- and other players have to help step up and keep the team focused. If we get past Oregon State in a convincing way, the spotlight will begin to focus on Happy Valley. By the time we get to that tough stretch of games, the pressure will be huge (assuming we are winning).

I am convinced many of our ills began in late 1999, when we lost to Minnesota on a last-second field goal, and then had meltdowns against Michigan and Michigan State. Even though Arrington was on that team, the player leadership dissolved and we entered into our dark period. The players have to believe in themselves, even when we fickle fans are calling for Bobby Bouchet to be the starting QB.

Leadership -- believe in it.

and for the record, junior tickets were gone in 90 seconds and only about 70% got them as opposed to the senior 90%... unfair

That really stinks for the seniors and juniors who didn't get tickets.  When I was there freshman/sophmore years it was through the mail, junior/senior year it was through email and I got tickets every year.  I do thnk that it is definitely more fair to do the seniors first, then juniors, and on down though, but they should open up freshman/sophmore tickets to cover the juniors and seniors who weren't able to get them.
