We now have our Carr and Franklin signed. 2 out of 12 picks. I'm glad to see our picks start signing but we all would be lying if we didn't say we wanted our high picks signed early. So with that said, Who do you think will be the first of our "high priority" guys to sign? Explain your reasoning.
Will CP put aside his "hard-headed" negotiating to get our first rounders signed early, or, will it slowly trickle down (3rds first, 2nd, and 1st rounders last)?

I voted for Albert. I think that he might be the highest priority to sign early due to the fact he will be playing LT. Due to our offensive inabilty on the line last year, I think he will be the first to sign.
Oh yeah, I put Charles on the list because he is a skill position player who has some high expectations, thus might take a while to sign.

I voted Charles just because he is the lowest of the picks and will be the cheapest to sign. Carl is cheap and will not give up one penny more than he has to for any signings.
After that I suspect that Carl will get Flowers signed before either Dorsey or Albert. Let's just make it happen. Get out the checkbook and get Dorsey, Albert and Flowers signed all the same week. It really should not be that difficult.

I totally agree with you NZ. Charles will be the least expensive, and Carl will pay the cheapest first. He just needs to sign the rest before training camp, or they will do us no good this year. I know rookies make way too much money, but unfortuanately that is the new NFL, and it effects every team, not just us. We have the highest salary cap dollars in the league. We need to utilize it, and as soon as possible.

Agree with NZ and Racyman, King Carl will take his time on the higher draft pick, saving them for last. With Jamaal Charles being the lowest of the four draft picks, he will be the first one signed. With him being One Round and Five Picks (Round 3, Pick 9) lower than Brandon Flowers (Round 2, Pick 4), he will be signed, at least, a week before any of the Top 3 picks by the Chiefs.

It will probably be Charles, Flowers, and then Dorsey and Albert a couple of days before training camp. Charles will be an easier sign than Flowers, since he was a later round draft pick.
