The Offseason

I hear ya man, to be honest I have never once played real ice hockey (I've went to the rink many times and played 3 on 3 with my brother and cousins, but thats it) but I used to play in a roller hockey league for 5 years (12-17). If it wasn't for an age limit, I would still be playing. I try to get down in my basement and play for an hour a day, but sometimes it gets boring just shooting at an open net. However, I should be getting down there everyday to burn off some of this beer belly my girl has been complaining about!

No local leagues? You can find them around here no sweat. I played in high school, but I haven't strapped on skates in years now. It doesn't help when you decide to go to college in New Orleans where there is nothing on the hockey front. By the time I came home I had too much stuff to do. I've been thinking about finding the time now. At this point, I have a lot of catching up to do.
