Here's the    ONE PLACE    where    EVERYONE      has the opportunity to post their thoughts about the  Greatest Golfer of ALL Time ....    For some of you, you have the free will to state how you think Tiger SUX ....  while others can heap great accolades on the Master of the Fairways.   There's no restriction here except to abide by the format established by CBS.

Personally, I was a follower of Arnie Palmer, until I realized that Jack Nicklaus was far surpassing Arnie.  Was it hard to accept  - -  YES, but facts are facts.   And now I've come to realize that even on one leg, Tiger far out-distances the "Mediocrity of Golf" henceforth referred to as MOG.

So as of today, Wednesday, June 25, Tiger begins a new era in his life.... golf after ACL surgery.  Will he be BETTER......   or will he be WORSE?  Will he emerge with an even more precise mastery of the game, or will it be gone forever.  Will he follow in the foot steps of the Great Ben Hogan??

Let me see your thoughts in this OFFICIAL TIGER WOODS THREAD . . .

.

Excellent thread dgm one that I expect to visit on a regular basis. Glad to see that 2 of Tigers most devoted fans are the first to respond.

All we have here is a tidbit of fodder for the silly, serious doubters to cling onto...hope is good for the human soul.

I expect more of the same old......Greatness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just another chapter on the MARCH to rewrite golf history.

Go TIGER GO

Cheers

I have a question for everyone:

Will Tiger still be ranked number one in the world at the end of the year? If not, then who?

I don't think so. I think if Phil can win one of the next two majors, he will be number one.

GOOD LUCK to Tiger, hope for a successful and speedy recovery.

Golfer For Life   = =

Very good question . .  I find it very difficult to believe that Tiger can hold onto the World Golf Rating that he's had for sooooo long.  Maybe someone like IHO or UMHULA or CHER who have a good handle on how that rating works might find the time to share their wisdom with us on this.

Tiger is forced into a brief "sabbatical". There's no way he can retain that #1 ranking through all this. .  .  .  .   AND since he cherishes things like a #1 ranking , this will be difficult for him to accept.  His mentality is to win - win  - win.  He does enter tournaments to lose.  Losing a #1 ranking will be a huge motivation for him to return to his normally controlled winning ways.

Good question....  who can answer how the ranking will work??
