Guys, come in off the ledge, do not jump!! First off, you guys are delusional if you are still thinking that Nash is going to win a title in Phoenix. This team is old and getting older by the minute. Nash, Shaq, Barbosa and so far in his career Amare play very very little defense. They also get worked on the boards(Shaq has helped even the margin there out quite a bit, but still not a good rebounding team). What Robin Lopez has going for him is a good defender and rebounder. I don't think any of you would argue either of those have been strong points for the Suns recently. Right? None of us have seen a single game in the Terry Porter regime and you guys are already trashing the pick. Let's let it play out on the court before calling it an awful pick.
Secondly, who would you have rather had at this point in the draft after the Suns did not make a move to trade up? Would you rather take JaVale McGee or Roy Hibbert? A soft big man or an un-athletic big man? How about a soft Euro big man? I would have loved to see Brandon Rush or Anthony Randolph in a Suns jersey, although I think Randolph may v |
