Well, I have heard thru the"inside" grapevine--that this kid Ebanks is the real deal. I have heard Huggy state that "if Ebanks isnt the Big East Rookie of the year--it would be a big disappointment". Now I am seeing Mr. Ebanks projected as the 24th player taken in the 2009 draft.  Wow, this kid hasnt even played a game--and I dont think alot WV people have seen him play either. Is this kid that good? First of all, if he is--then we may very well have a real good basketball team and Mr. Ebanks will rise on the draft board and be gone. Hey, but it is what it is.  Would you walk away from 3-4 million over 2 years? These are the interesting scenerios that we all must wait to see get played out. In the meantime, lets get ready for some football.  Isn't it a great time to be a MOUNTAINEER FAN!!!!

He could easily be one and done, and he is the real deal. However, it takes the perfect situation for a player like him to leave. He may not like the 24 pick and want more guaranteed money. He may love playing with Wells, Kevin, Joema, Da, etc and want another crack at a deep run.

They may go to the final four and he will want a championship, you see where I am going.

He may not perform as well as projected and end up looking at early second round.

It is surely a good time to be a mountie, and it is a great quandry in this day and age to be thinking about one and done's at your own school.

I agree with bob he still has a lot of room to improve especially body wise and i think if he was projected that low he would come back another but its a long ways off lets worry about the upcoming season first.
