nyfan, what's going on in Ranger-land? No Jagr(yet), Sundin(yet), Hossa, Straka, Shanahan or Avery? I hate to say it, but your offense is going to suffer mightily. You definitely overpaid for Redden, but every UFA is overpaid. Look at us, 2.5mil for Holik and 2.9mil for Salvador. I think you guys may run into some problems down the road considering you have a ton of salary wrapped up in Drury, Gomez, and Redden, all of whom are overpaid. And yeah, I also wanted Vrbata and Steit, but we both have time to make more of an impact.

Now the Rangers just signed some jobber from the Sweedish league! Yeah that will help, the guy only scored 17 goals last season........ IN SWEEDEN!!!!!!!

Well now i know who i'm voting against in the vote off tomorrow haha.
Seriously though, it seems like since the Giants won the superbowl my sports world has been in a swift tailspin. The only highlights i've had since then is the Rangers beating the Devils only to get bounced in the next round, and the Mets getting Santana, and beating the Phillies in all the series they have played so far, and the Yanks too. You know what i guess it's not all that bad i guess......I'm just mostly ticked about Avery leaving.....i think i will get over it. I will however boo Sather until my throat is sore.

What's up, 7? Sorry I'm so late on the welcome back train as I've been gone myself for just a little while. Don't be a stranger anymore. It's less people for me to gloat to about how awesome the Flyers are when people leave. It's even worse when they're good posters like yourself.
