I ran into Coach Dye out in Poka a few weeks ago and i asked him about the missing pants.... He says he remebered losing them but when I pressed him about how they came up missing he stammered a sec then said something about them falling out of his boat. I really really miss him! A great coach that is one of the greatest characters in football history. Great Coach Dye story for you guys=====
I was at a dinner one night and Coach Dye is the speaker. If you know coach Dye then you can imagine the entertainment level of this event. Anyway coach starts this story about all the refs in the sec and how he knew them all so well and this and that. He tells us a story about an exchange he had with a ref in ball game. Sorry I cant remember the game he was talking about but anyway..... he calls the ref over for the 3rd time to argue a call and the ref tells him he has heard enough and there is no reason to cry. Coach says to the ref (I forget the refs name so lets go with john) " John, let me ask you something. You cant kick me out of this game for what i think can you ?I could think that you are wrong about that call and you cant kick me out for it. In fact you cant kick me out for thinking anything! Let me ask you something. Can you kick me out for just thinking you are a son of a b@#ch? to which the ref responds " no coach i cant kick you out for thinking it. Dye responds with out a moment of hesitation " Good to hear it cuz I think you are a son of a b@#ch!!!!" Gotta love coach DYE!!!!!!!!!!
