The Indians got alot better deal on this one because the Brewers had to give up 3 prospects including Matt LaPorta where all the Indians are giving up is C.C. who is great don't get me wrong but the Indians couldn't resign him anyway.

Unless the Brewers win the WS or re-sign Sabathia, the Indians get a steal.

This is huge for the Brewers. I don't know who the other 2 prospects are, LaPorta is a stud, but the Brewers are rolling. Brew Crew and the Rays.....who'da thunk it?

Gotta say Brewers for one simple reason...... We've always been sellers and never buyers.  LaPorta could be good, but he is striking out a TON in AA.  His defense is also suspect, so the AL is a better fit for him.

Brewers made a great move.

I think this deal works out great for both teams. As Bowlorbust said, LaPorta is a much better fit for the Indians as a DH. This gives the Brewers a huge lift in their rotation (and, consequently, their bullpen) and could be the spark they need to win a playoff spot.

The only answer here is "The Brewers"!!    There is no way to know how the 3 prospects will turn in the Big League.  But C.C. will only make the Brewers rotation better.  Not just better, but extremely better.  I think this is a great thing for the Brewers fans.  This is a team that, in the past, has had lot of top of the draft picks and are starting to be able to play some on there team and trade some in order to improve the team.  There is no reason not to sign C.C. to a contract before the end of the season.  New stadium and income streams,  buck up, lock him up and join the Cards and Cubs as the main teams in the Central.
