HonestFan2,

Recently it has seemed like Tito has been pushing all the wrong buttons.  When its bad its bad.  Don't understand why he took out Wakefield when he did or why he brought in Papelbon in a tie game on the road.  The bullpen has been the weakness lately and he takes out the most consistent pitcher the last 2 months after less then 100 pitches and allowing 5 base runners? I don't understand that blunder.

Players have to perform though too, so you can't put it all on Francona. Only move I questioned yesterday was pinch hitting Varitek for Lugo. How bad must Lugo feel when Francona has more confidence in a guy who is 13 for his last 112. I'd rather see Bartolo Colon pinch hit.

Note to Manny: Watch Gardner's at bat. Good things can happen when you take the bat off of your shoulder.

Congrats to the Yankees for not folding yesterday. Tough for me to watch, but got to give credit where credit is due.

Hoping some Fenway home cookin' will finally get the Sox playing, well, decent.

What a game!!  Brett Gardner in the 11th.....whoed a thunk it, haha.  Great plays by Mike Lowell, who should be an allstar instead of Tek.  Apparently Tek was voted by the players.  And is Dionner Navaro having that good a season that hes an AS? I woulda taken Crawford or Longoria instead.

Do you think Manny was sending a message by not takin the bat off his shoulder yesterday???? Naww Manny wouldnt be that selfish.....would he?  Im sure his atbat will be talked about on ESPN all day.

Yeah, Tucker, whoda thunk Brett Gardner would make it before Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera? LOL I've got the Brasso right here, a couple more passes with a clean rag, and presto! We give you #11, Brett Gardner! Hang on, lemme water the new flowers...

You're right can't put it all on Francona, gotta give the Yanks and Gardner credit for fighting back.  The bottom of the order is in alot of trouble right now.  Heading back home would help normally, but the Twins have been scorching as of late.
