A little more realistically speaking: He is going to have the advantage over hitters during his time in Milwaukee because as an AL pitcher, many of the opposing batters will have never faced him before. In his 3 starts this season against the NL, he has allowed just 4 runs on 15 hits through 23 innings while recording 31 K's and walking just 4; 1.55 ERA.
The Rockies are swinging the bats very good lately, to the tune of 35 runs in their last 3 games. I think a fair assessment would be 7 IP, 2 ER and 8 K's. I do think he gets a hit though. He had been "abused" by the Indians in his last 6 starts as he's averaged over 115 pitches per outing and just threw 123 pitches last Wednesday; which is why I think he only lasts 7 innings. Ned will use a bit of caution until he feels out how C.C. responds in late innings and he won't want to have him throw too many pitches because we will still be trying to get another good start out of him the day before the allstar break.
