Yanks and Sox helped each other last night.

Last night the Yankees helped Boston and themselves gain ground on the Rays in the AL East by defeating the Rays. Also, the Red Sox helped the Yankees and themselves by defeating the Twins and helping both clubs gain ground in the AL Wildcard race. Is this all a part of MLB's conspiracy to keep Boston and the Yanks in the mix for a playoff spot? I don't think so, more like the cream rising to the top. Hopefully the Yankees can continue this trend this afternoon with a 1pm game against the Rays.

Andy was great last night.

How about Cano's bat in the 8th?  Dude fouled off like ten pitches in a row before ripping a single to center to score the 5th run.  He looks like he's starting to find that summertime groove he seems to get into every year.

Thanks Twins bullpen.  I'd rather you guys beat the Sox then the Sox helping us to make up ground on the W.C.
