Plus, he pulls some serious hotties.

Yeah, cause that is one of things the Hall of Fame looks for in candidates. I had no idea that was a requirement of all great QB's. I'm sure Mrs. P. Manning or Mrs. Favre really think they hurt their husbands' chances of getting into Canton.

Do us all a favor and never use that as a criterion again.

You Pats fans are like a case of chronic genital warts..................

They're about as easy to get rid of too.... They just don't take hints.

Bronxtool & Irishyawn, this was a discussion between friends. Seeing how you have none, please exclude yourselves from the discussion. Also, if you don't like the content of the thread, you aren't obligated to whine and moan about it. Now, you girls hike up your skirts and move along now. I'm sure there is an episode of Dawson's Creek on somewhere right now you would hate to miss.

Hey Manny, out of curiousity where do you stand on Terrell Davis making the hall?

I would say no. He only had 2 seasons where he played 16 games. Played in 81 games, about 5 seasons. Tom has played in 106 thus far.

And Tom has won 1 more SB.

Bretts even better because hes more aware. he always gets it to the open man

Only the other team has an open man often for Brett to throw to.

Here are some real numbers for you cheeseheads to chew on.

Tom Brady's season averages to date........27.92 TD's........12.38 Int's

Brett Favre's season averages to date.........27.68 TD's........17.84 Int's

Total TD's and Int's to date divided by games played, multiplied by 16.

The message boards are a place for everyone with real loyalty to their team to talk about it, not soil it with more bandwagon propoganda.

Yep, I just questioned your loyalties.

So have you been a fan since preseason or week 1? Or maybe since they beat the Colts?

Well, let's see. I'm 38 and when I was 7 years old I had Steve Grogan PJ's. So I guess a little over 30 years.

Move along now bronxfool. I hate the fact that you are a Duke fan. You are one of the one's that give the rest of us a bad name.

I'll be 40 in January & I'm going to BUY some Steve Grogan PJ's.

With regard to Tom Brady hypothetically settling down to raise his son--just out of curiosity, would he be doing that with his current, supermodel girlfriend?  Or with the actress who is the mother of his child?

Tom Brady is certainly ON PACE to become one of the best QBs of all time, IF he continues to produce team accomplishments and individual stats like this season.  But we all know that anything can happen--look at Kurt Warner!

If Steling Sharpe had lasted until the seasons in which the Packers appeared in the Super Bowl, we might be talking about a late 90s Packer dynasty.  Alas, it was not to be.

Nobody mentioned Deion Branch in the discussion of Brady's corps of receivers over the years.

I would argue that Tom Brady's most admirable act was to accept less money from the Pats than he could have had from numerous other organizations once.  I would certainly describe him as professional.  However, he doesn't look like much fun to play with.  Brett, on the other hand, always seems to be having a good time.

It's obvious why Packer fans love Brett Favre so much--after 30 years of torture, he finally made it worthwhile to tune in on a Sunday afternoon!  I know that Patriot fans had their share of disappointment before Tom, but at least their team had the chance to lose a couple of Super Bowls!. The pre-Favre Packers had only a couple of winning seasons after the victory in Super Bowl II!

Still, Tom Brady MIGHT be the Brett Favre of the AFC.....

Since we are talking hypotheticals; I would imagine he'd stay with his girlfriend and share custody with his baby's momma.  If he was a smart as his fans say he is; he'd find an arrangement to where he could have both.

manny_hit_hr........I understand your sarcasm re your "now, you girls hike up your skirts and move along now" etc......however your insulting comments using the female gender are uncalled for and surely you are creative enough to use another subject as the basis for getting your point across.

Some of us females may not be as knowledgeable as some males re sports but not all of us watch "Dawson's Creek" either.  I for one am on this site to learn about pro footbal..even though my fav. team is my college team....U. of Texas Austin.

Thanks for considering our (cannot of course speak for all females but for those I do know and have known) point of view.

There you have it, folks! Another mesmerizing post from the self appointed czar of the morality police, NS Bradley! Let's give her a big round of applause!!!! (Insert golf clap here) Still waiting in a post from her about the actual GAMES, but none seems forthcoming! She only seems interested in anything from the seedier side of circus that surrounds the sport these days! Anything negative rears its head and she is sure to coming running, joust held high! But anyone who believes, as she does and has stated on numerous occasions, that Michael Vick derived SEXUAL PLEASURE from his participation in dogfighting, loses all credibility and just comes off as the crackpot she surely is!

Brett Favre is NOT the Tom Brady of the NFC.  The fact is like it or not, right or wrong, QB comparisions will always begin with how many rings they have.  (Obviously there are many other attributes that make them great as well.)

  1. Montana
  2. Elway
  3. Unitas
  4. Bradshaw
  5. Aikman
  6. Brady*
  7. Manning*
  8. Favre
  9. Staubach
  10. Marino

*may even move up after career is over
