Lynching, a definition: "To execute without due process of law, especially to hang, as by a mob."

Any racial reference in that definition?

It's sad that the free speech rights given to us by that little read document, The U.S. Constitution, are eroded daily.  We do NOT have a god given right to not be offended, especially with inferences that are, at best, a stretch.

Yes -- but if we use this definition than the whole story goes away and the REV has no arguement.  Thats no fun.  I'm so sick of people just being emotional about the whole thing and not examining the facts.  95% of the people commenting have never heard her actual remarks but are responding to what they have heard.  I think the US Constitution is already an out of date, non-relative document.  The way our country is headed..............

Wow Hokies, you've sure been hitting the "raping Michelle Wie" angle pretty hard lately.  Is there something we should know about, or are we just looking at a case of twisted fantasies from a sexually frustrated brotha?

I am sure that as soon as the word came out of her mouth she wanted to crawl in a hole and die.  Faldo gave her a look like "Do you want to try to cover your a$$ now."

It was the worst possible word that she could have chosen to get her point across.  I really think that what she was trying to say was that no other golfers have the nutsack to step up to Tiger, and unless Tiger suddenly disappears he will continue to dominate.

She used a word that has a strongly negative historical connotation in this country, and she was punished for it.  From what I have heard Tiger was not offended, but that doesn't excuse her poor word choice.
