Mikey Wikey? Hahaha what are you, 11? Crabs, yeah i got them from your girlfriend. Guess you can't wrap your head around the fact that no one thinks OSU didn't get blown out besides your fellow OSU fans. I guess i should respect you since you are a top 1000 member on the cbs message board. You are a joke bro. I'm going to one of the 1000 bars in New Orleans, maybe i'll go home with your mom tonight, who knows?

I would respond in greater depth, but BuckeyeTodd explained several positions that Ohio State has talent at, especially at linebacker. I do not agree with BuckeyeTodd's analysis that Ohio State has the advantage over USC, especially at the QB position. If anyone watched Boeckman in the title game they would know he really isn't that great and he continually underthrows his receivers. I still think that USC has more depth overall, but the starters are pretty equal. Beanie Wells, however, is a beast. I wouldn't substitute any USC back for Beanie. Beanie is a future early 1st round NFL draft pick. As far as WRs go, I would say Ohio State has a couple good receivers and has added a couple more excellent receivers in this years class. If this years Ohio State WR recruits can step up early in the season, I would say they may be better than USC, but that is too hard to tell. Again, overall, USC has more depth and is better but I disagree with some of your points.

Hey, does USC still have to play That Ohio State?
Because after we beat 'em we will be ridiculed for having such a soft schedule.

You Buckeye fans just don't get it. First off, there is no denying OSU individual players have speed - that is a fact based on their 40 times. But what you don't understand is OSU does not play with speed as a team and cannot compete with teams that do - this is also fact based on their record against the SEC. Look, Teddy Ginn Jr. was most likely one of the fastest guys to go thru OSU - with world class speed, but Coach T (who I think is one of the classiest and best out there) did not use him to his full ability. Remember the goofy O they ran against UT the first time? See OSU does not spread the field which limits the O against fast teams.
Yes Beanie Wells is one of the best backs coming in to 08 - but USC over the past 7 years has made a point to stop the run and force their opponent to beat them in the air. The only run teams that have been somewhat successful against this defensive plan is ones that have a really good running qb. So, the way to beat USC is to have a QB that can make plays. OSUs wr this year do not scare fast defenses - and your qb isn't anything to write home about. Your line and rb are great, but that "three downs and a cloud of dust" won't work against USC. Sorry to say - same goes for your D. Several of these guys will be in the NFL and have great speed, but have adopted a philosophy based on playing slow Big 10 teams. Look at what Zook did with a very average spread offense - yes it was only one game but LSU did the same.
Any team that attacks OSU D spreading the ball and stretching the field has had great success- period!

So not only is Mike Grish a racist (see his warnings) but he's so unoriginal that he resorts to talking about taking home people's moms.
FYI...my mom has battled severe multiple sclerosis for 25 years and is my hero. She nearly died at Christmas from a Sepsis blood infection. Not that a piece of trash like you would care.
I'll make fun of YOU all day, but I won't make fun of your mom, girlfriend/wife. Note, that in my post I made fun of you running to your mommy, not exactly the same as saying you're going to pick up someone's mom at a bar and take them home. That's just not cool and I don't go to that level. Apparently nothing is off limit for you.
You can say ANYTHING about me and it's all good, but since you need to put down my wife and mom we're done. Congrats and feel good about yourself for making fun of a handicapped woman who can't defend herself. If I'm ever passing through N.O. I'll make sure and look Mike Grish up. Maybe you can make fun of her to my face.....although I wouldn't suggest it. Peace-

Yeah that's what they kept saying in 2002 against Miami (The U) and that worked out OK. Texas had all kinds of speed with Vince Young in 2005 when they won the N.C. and it came down to the last minute for them to win by 3 pts. Hardly getting "killed" by speed.
OSU has lost the last two N.C. games because they didn't execute, not because the lacked speed (game speed OR 40 yard dash speed). But keep drinking the Mark May Kool-Aid and come back when you have something original to add to the conversation. Right now you just sound like a broken record saying the same thing we've heard a million times...

there are sooo many replacement parts to the USC 2008 Team... the reason for my optimistic view of the upcoming season and WHERE the games are being played against the likely toughest opponents....
No trash talk about the OSU... they have been one of the TOP three (or two) programs for the last 2 seasons and with a WIN at LA Col, there is nothing to lead anyone NOT to conclude that they are again in the TOP two.....
So No bashing... it will be a great and close (one TD) game!! 9/13 LA is the Place to be!!

Yeah I'm sure it had nothing to do with their game plan, or the fact that LSU executed every part of their game plan to perfection. It was all because of their 54 SOS.
Vols, have you ever heard of beating a dead horse with a hammer? Because you have been beating it to a bloody pulp.
THIS year was a terrible schedule for OSU. 2006 however, they played Texas AT Texas, who was ranked #2 in the nation when they played, and finished the year #16, and UM who was #2 when they played, and top 5 in the final polls. The next two years OSU has USC, then Miami (FL), Oklahoma, etc. What are you ever going to do when you can't beat the dead horse about their SOS???
I guess if my team hadn't been relevant for a decade I'd probably hate teams that have been too though.

Why do you think I still have people like Abayoubengal, Roy8830, Agamemnon, Bayoubengal1, and others in my favorites even after the N.C. is over? I am staying out f this debate but I am concerned that you failed to mention me!!!

BuckeyTodd You claim "OSU has lost the last two N.C. games because they didn't execute, not because the lacked speed (game speed OR 40 yard dash speed)."
OSU has lost the last 2 National Championship games because your coaching staff doesn't know how to play against TOP QUALITY teams. You think that playing one good OOC game a year helps you in the eyes of the media? No way does it prepare you for a true TOP NOTCH team ! !
Over the last 2 years your Butteyes have not played hardly any competition. They might play 1 good team and then go back to your easy inconference games and not play another ranked team for 3 or 4 weeks or more ?

In the last two years Ohio States competition has beaten Tennessee, Florida, Arkansas. If OSU's competition sux, the SEC must really suck.

BuckeyeTodd could you please hand me the hammer for a minute or two???
"THIS year was a terrible schedule for OSU. 2006 however, they played Texas AT Texas, who was ranked #2 in the nation when they played, and finished the year #16, and UM who was #2 when they played, and top 5 in the final polls."
Like I said in the previous post LOOK at what you have listed "THIS year was a terrible schedule for OSU. 2006 however, they played" In week 2 they played Texas, in week 12 they played Michigan??? In between those games you played not a single ranked team, NOT ONE ! !
So what IF you play ONE good team ! ! To be able to compete with the BIG BOYS you need to play them more than once or twice a year. Open your eyes and mind to the obvious.
