ok guys, seasons in the home stretch and this team will struggle to get to 45 wins playing like this... we should have close to 35 or more wins right now but our front court can't buy a rebound...

so that being said... where will the Raptors finish the season?

I see the Celtics and the Pistons as the class of the east with the Magic and the Cavaliers about the same as the Raptors at this point...

Chris Bosh rocks and needs help up front Jamario Moon has been a surprise and Andrea Bargnani has struggled... Jose Calderon has developed into a top 10 guard in this league and if T.J. Ford ever gets healthy, this back court has to be considered among the top in the league...

where we fall down is in the post and on the glass... we can't shoot 70% everynight but since we can't rebound, we have to do so to win consistantly... with Ben Wallace and Wally Szczerbiak now playing with LeBron James, the Cavs are close to repeating if they can gel before May... you KNOW LBJ will make it work...

the Raps trade Juan Dixon for a splinter pulling Center... hmmm a questionable deal by BC, perhaps he is looking past this year and working things out for next year... too bad, the east is there for the taking this season.. not sure it will be so easy next year...

questions, thoughts, rants, all are welcome

i voted for 4th over all in the east as i think the Cavaliers will be too tough down the stretch and will climb ahead of the Raptors and the Magic for that 3rd spot.

i see the Raptors playing the Magic in the first round and winning as Jameer Nelson is no where near the level of Jose Calderon, but they will get eaten alive by the remaining contenders due to NO inside game... the Celtics and the Pistons both will destroy us from the inside out as they have...

if Primoz Brezec can some how find a way to suddenly average 10 boards a game, this team can scare people....

With a favorable schedule coming up the Raptors should be able to gain some ground in the east, with their next 6 games being against the Knicks (x2), Pacers (x2), Timberwolves, and Bobcats before meeting up with Orlando again...

It would not surprise me for the Raptors to go 5-1 in that stretch (although they really should go 6-0), bringing their record up to 34-24 and putting themselves in good shape for getting to 3rd in the East.  Whether they hold it or not is a question that will remain to be answered, but we'll see...

I agree, I see Toronto in 4th with Cleveland in 3rd and Orlando 5th. Id love a Toronto/Orlando matchup, i think Toronto can take it in 6 maybe 5. By then, I think Toronto will be playing hot again, they are a hungry team.

I have a feeling Brezec will actually be decent, maybe even better then Dixon. Hes friends with Rasho from the Slovenia National team, speaks Italian as well. Im sure he will get along with the other International players on the Raps, he should fit in just fine.

Toronto should be playing above .500 for the remainder of the season, it is a pretty favorable schedule for the Raps.

jmarc Orlando is going to win the division so the lowest they can be is a 4th seed, of course if the Raptors have the better record theyd get home court advantage, so technically its the same as getting the 4th seed. btw I think thats exactly whats going to happen, and the raps match up much better with the Magic than the cavs, especially the new look cavs.

I'm out

it seems pretty odvious and it has since 10 games into the season boston 1 Pistons 2 orlando 3. Raps will be either 4th or 5th depending on if we beat the new-look Cavs....either way its Toronto-Clevland first round

As a Raptors fan, I think I would prefer a matchup against Orlando than Cleveland.  Bosh always seems to have big games against Orlando, which the Raps will need if they're going to make it out of the first round.
