I COULDNT BE MORE HAPPY!!! The defensive line is beast now and so is the LB spot. Now the only needs are WR, TE, CB. Were actually spending money and are looking like a true playoff team!

I heard the same on buffalo rumblings. We got stroud for a 3rd and 5th which is the going rate for DT's in a trade and he may be the best one. We signed Johnson to a five year deal I heard but dont know how much but at any rate we are much improved at the position.

If Stroud is at 100% he's one of the bst in the game. The Bills in the last 24 hous have really p a stamp to there defense and ahve improved in alot. I'm very suprised that they were able to sign Stroud, considering there cheap ways. More of them improving, and there doin it the smart way too.

I'm watching the Nationwide (Busch) race on ESPN2 and just saw that Jacksonville traded Stroud to the Bills for draft picks. FINALLY the Bills are being players in the Free Agency market. This is like Christmas in March.

Wow, this is great! Stroud should help a lot with the run defense. And add Kawika Mitchell to the mix, and the Bills suddenly have a good defense! I can't wait for next season...
BTW, is this the doing of a new GM? If so, he may be better than Marv after all.

I like Kawika Mitchell, but I smell fish with Marcus Stroud. He WAS great. He has to be better than Larry Tripplett. Jack Del Rio is sharp, and building a winner with the Jaguars. Why does he let a guy with years left on his contract go shop himself? Cap reasons, or productivity reasons? If Stroud plays 16 games, fine. A third and fifth round pick for a Pro Bowl player? Nope, what do you get for a third and fifth round pick? If he is another injured reserve non-entity, not so fine. Did the Bills buy damaged goods?

After the season, we had three pressing needs. 1) A BIG DT to stop the run. Now we have one of the best (when healthy), but I'll take that chance! 2) A weak side linebacker to upgrade over Ellison. Now we have a Champion coming to town. 3) A tall receiver who can be a red zone threat. Now Johnson was in town to visit and they also have their eyes on Wilford (yes, let's take all the ex Jags...the easiest team in the league to respect when not speaking of your own team) Even Troupe was in town. Solid pass catching TE. As mentioned, Spencer Johnson was signed too. Does this mean we can release Tripplett? I am so psyched right now I can't even blink. This only makes the draft that much better!!!!!
