I, for one, am perfectly happy with a 2 seed in the NCAAEspecially in Houston..... Exactly.  I'm on the lookout...

In sports, it is not safe to make comparisons such as "they beat a team who lost to kentucky, who lost to gardner webb.

I could easily say Wisconsin is underserving of a #1 seed because they lost by 24 points to Duke.  The same Duke team that lost to Pitt.  The same Pitt team that lost to (10-20) Rutgers.

See how dumb that sounds.

The Badgers may have lost to Duke by 24, but it was at Duke and I believe Duke is much better than TT, but I could be wrong.  Also, don't throw Wisco into the conversation because you couldn't beat them at home.  How many of Wisconsins losses are to unranked teams????? oh yea none!

One more thing, the only way Texas is a #2 seed is if they win out and win the conference tourney.  Otherwise they are a #3 at best.

there;s a big dif losing to teams who are rated and lost to strong opponents vs a team who beat up overhyped teams who lost to weak oponents. id rather lose by 100 to a team who only loses to top opponents and is ranked over losing even by a pt to someone who barely beat a team who averaged like 50 pts a game before entering conference play.

indiana got blown out today by michigan state who at least is a top 25 team and they lost at michigan state. there's really something wrong when a team can have a losing record before conference play yet have a winning record in conference play. not to dis texas or tennessee but you cant judge a team who beat a team that lost to a team who had a losing record coming into conference play in kentucky. not only that, tennessee barely beat kentucky at tennessee today.

I believe Texas's RPI is 5.  It's an emotionless statistic that does a great job of rating teams.  I'd put more stock in the RPI than some fatass named stubb...

I didnt say Wisconsin wasnt good.  They're coach has done a helluva job.  I simply pointing out that making those types of comparisons arent really relevant.  But here are the numbers.  (kenpom.com)

Texas  RPI = 5    SOS = 3,      11-4 record against Top 50 RPI

Tennessee  RPI = 1   SOS = 2,     9-2 Record against Top 50 RPI.

Wisconsin   RPI = 12  SOS = 42,    4-4 Record against Top 50 RPI.

And just for fun here is Purdues RPI and SOS.  Wisconsin's is better.  RPI = 28  SOS = 94.
