Brian Burke the JOKE of the NHL,, bad for league

So let me get this straight. He cries and whines like a baby because Kevin Lowe signs penner to a monster deal, a huge raise from 400,000 a year to 5 plus million a year. He throws the biggest fit ever , even wants to fight lowe... will never speak to him again, and futhermore won't even speak to him regarding trade proposals that could better his team,, ( that's really mature)

So now, he signs Getzlaf to a monster contracting, basically imitating what lowe did?? Weren't getzlaf's and penners stats last year really similar? aren't they both young, unproven guys?? oh, I forgot, getzlaf got off to a good start this year, off to the hall of fame he goes , right?

Before you tell me how much better getzlaf is, remember something , and remember this good. It doesn't matter how penner started out this year in edmonton, it doesn't even matter how he finishes in edmonton. The only thing that would have mattered had idiot burke signed him is how he would have done in anaheim... and all indications after last year showed he would have done just as well.... why not..

Also , don't forget that if getzlaf would have been playing for edmonton this year with their talent he wouldn't be doing as well as he is either.

listen moron... if your such a  big fan you can't see straight then that's your problem. First of all, he won nothing, the players did. Second of all, one year means nothing.  Plenty of teams including carolina, the Rangers, calgary, phili, and others did very well then struggled for a time after and never got to the finals again,, some even missing the playoffs.....

You want to know how I can figure out when somebody knows they are wrong but can't admit it? It's when somebody brings up a valid point and the other person responds by attacking them ...  understand what i'm saying?

I have a best friend that loves the Ducks... huge fan. But you know what he told me a couple days ago?? He told me that the only thing he's embarassed of is how dirty they play, that especially when things don't go well they try to hurt people.  He truly believes that burke is one of the reasons they play that way, when in reality they don't need to be like that at all to win.  It's not just dumb penalties and the truth is csurams, you know it, but just aren't man enough to admit it....

As for the best record since 2002,  what in gods name are you talking about ?? what record ????  You look at the regular seasons that consist of 80 plus games per year and I don't think that anaheim beat detroit EVEN ONCE....    oh, and convenient you start at 2002,,, because in 2001 the wings won their 3rd cup in 6 years...

anyways, your going to have some worries soon.  Your not going to have niedermayer or selanne next year at all... the board of governors agreed to meet in the offseason and put something together that will force Stars like that  to follow their team around the whole year if they want to play in the playoffs... trust me, those guys won't do that and anaheim will be cooked.. go check their record this year without those guys,,, not so good... 

Teams like detroit on the other hand over the years have lost people and moved on like nothing happened... steve yzerman, a hall of famer retires... konstantinov back a few years, runner up for the norris trophy...fischer was a 25 point defenseman for detroit.... and still, we are never near 500 or struggling like anaheim did..

Anyways, go do some research now but don't be stupid... anaheim has not had the best record since 02,01,03,04,, nothing,,,,, 

the worst part is that burke because of his previous position and league connections has the refs in his pocket... look at the detroit game recently.  They ran osgood 3 times, scoring on him after they knocked him down and he's laying on his back... then they call back the tying goal because holmstrom has literally just his heel of his skate in the crease.. even giguere was shocked at the call, saying it took guts but wasn't normal....

it was so obviously corrupt it was sick,, if holmstrom interfered why didn't he get a penalty for goaltending interference.?? how do you call a goal back for interference yet not call it?

I'll tell you how....  burke still runs the nhl....  and that's a big reason why the Ducks win...

I'm not going to try and say that the goal called back wasn't a goal, I was baffled by that call.  How about the flop by Ztterberg who looked equally as shocked and smirked on his way to bench after he fell and a call on Francois put you guys on the power play, Detroit should have never been on the power play which would have made the game different.  As for not calling it, they almost never call a penalty after taking a goal away.  As for Osgood, Huskins didn't push him over and Homer pushes goalies all game, so don't play that crap that we ran Osgood 3 times.  Homer is the best at it, but he also gets away with his own fair share of interference.

As for the previous post and not beating Detroit ever, that would be correct in the regular season, but not the postseason.  In 2003 we swept you out of the playoffs and beat you 4-2 last year, sound familiar?  Check your records and until then I will also take all the bashing as a good thing.
