That's not even talking smack, just another hater that wishes he had LeBron on his team, which is the whole league.
Next year my ass, LBJ will be MVP this year and a FEW more on the way.
Then maybe LBJ will buy Kobe a big couple carat ring and tell him he's sorry, will you forgive me?

The Bulls are not that lowly and LeBron put up 39 points. Its not his fault that he is still playing without 3 of the best players on his team and 4 guys still trying to find their roles on this team. Yet another dumb, classless post by a Kobe fan. LeBron has the MVP numbers and if we can get our team on a roll then he has as good of a shot as anyone.

So how many times has your boy Kobe beaten Lebron and the Cavs this year? None.... so we lost to the Bulls so what.
Stop hating so much, do Cavs fans come to the Lakers board and talk this much junk?

So let's see the arguments for and against Lebron as the MVP:
For: Lebron is leading the league in scoring by a few points at about 31 ppg. He is averaging a gaudy 8 boards and 7.4 assists per game. He is also shooting almost 49% from the field and 32.4% from three point land. That's a pretty convincing case.
Against: His team is 36-27. That puts them in 4th in the Eastern Conference, but would have them in 10th in the stronger Western Conference.
In summary: Yeah, Lebron is having one heck of a year. Yes, his team's record is largely due to a lack of a supporting cast. Just keep in mind though, that two years ago, Kobe Bryant averaged 35.4 ppg on 45% shooting and 35% three point shooting. He also averaged 5.3 boards and 4.5 assists per game from the two-guard spot. His team went on to get the sixth best record in the West (seventh seed due to a poor northwest division) with a record of 45 - 37 (that would have put them in 5th in the East). That same season, Bryant was passed over for the MVP which was instead given to Steve Nash (and his 19 ppg, 10.5 assists per game, and the Suns' 54-28 record).
The point is that Lebron is in a very similar position to the one that Kobe was in during the 05-06 season. He's piling up the stats, but on a team with an inferior record. MVP voters give the team's record a lot of weight. (When was the last time a player from a team outside the top-3 in their conference won the MVP?)
Let me now point out that I'm neither a Lakers fan nor a Cavs fan. (So don't just pass this off as some homer putting in a word for his guy.) My only point is that it would not be surprising to see Lebron get passed over in the MVP race this year for someone like Kobe, Tim Duncan, Chris Paul, or Kevin Garnett who may not have the jaw-dropping stats that Lebron does, but plays on a top-tier team.

Yeah I think most Lakers fans are arrogant idiots who act like they never won before. So happy to be in 1st place in the regular season which doesnt mean anything(ask Dallas).Yet Lebron has done something Kobe never has.Single handedly took his team to the finals in his early years. If you want to argue with that, take all of the players that start or will start for Cleveland and ask yourself would they be the star on a mediocre team?Basically Kobe had a chance to do what Lebron did this year except now he has Gasol.Early in the year you could vouch for Kobe, but now you see Gasol is really helping him win games. No player would come off the Cavs and go star somewhere else.We have all role players period.Gasol was the best player on his team for years hands down.Every player that has played with Lebron would be like a 3rd or worse scoring option.Kobe and Dwayne Wade had the luxury to play with one of the best centers of all time.Lebron has a robot brought back to life in Zydrunas llguaskus(I love you Z but it is what it is).Lebron deserves the mvp hands down and you see the coach vouching for it every game.Mike Brown doesnt even really have to coach because you cant coach talent its just something that is natural.Lebron may not be a better scorer than Kobe but eventually he will be the better player. His defense just isnt quite there yet.I really think the mvp award should be brought in account to how you help your team win in the playoffs because those are really the most valueable players.

Anybody that thinks Lebron took his team to Championship by himself needs to have their head examined. He still had more than Kobe has had the last few years. Oh and BTW how did the Cavs do in that Championship. Oh YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!! Didn't they get smoked. At least the Cavs had a center. Something that the Lakers haven't had since Shot Put Shaq demanded a trade and left town with his tail tucked in, because Kobe was taking over and he couldn't handle it.
"YOU CAN'T COACH TALENT, IT'S SOMETHING THAT COMES NATURAL." Maybe if Phil Jackson was coaching the CAVS you may have won a couple games in that Championsip. No wonder why your CAVS can't win the big one. Comments like that are just plain dumb. Anybody can be coached, I don't care how you are. Remember MJ.
Lebron will be a better player than Kobe some day but not now. Lebron even says that himself. I really hate this topic anyway!!!!!!! People love using BLIND OPTIMISM.

This is a no-brainer. LeBron is 23! I said 23! And he's already arguably better than Kobe who is in the prime of his career. LeBron is going to destroy every achievement that rapist achieves.
LeBron doesn't have Shaq or anything even resembling Shaq. When Shaq "left town with his tail tucked in" he just went and won an NBA Championship with the Heat and Dwayne Wade. That's all. So I don't think Shaq really cared about Kobe "taking over", since D-Wade played the role of Kobe with the Heat - that role being of a sidekick. Meanwhile, Kobe hadn't taken the Lakers anywhere until Pau Gasol come around.
LeBron deserves the award this year. He might not get it because people (like the ones on this posting) are hard up on Kobe. The fact is, though, the CAVS are like 0-6 or 0-7 without LeBron this year; putting them at 36-21 with him. Clearly he is the MVP on a team that can't wipe their own crappers without him, but are an NBA finals team with him.
And how did the CAVS do in the finals last year? We got swept. I forget, though. How did LA do in the finals last year? Wait.... that's right, they lost to the Suns in the 1st round in 5 games. Then the Suns lost to the Spurs in 6 games. Nice.
LA LA land... joke.

Hey Screwball,
Thank you for letting me now that Lebron is only 23!!!!!!!!!!!! As I recall, Kobe had how many Championships at 23. I'll let you do your own research on that one. LOL As far as your stupid rapist comment. Show me some proof of a conviction and then we will have that agrument. Until then don't waste my time with this B.S..
Nextly as you stated in your Post about sidekicks and what not, until you and the CAVS realize it takes more than one person to win a Championship, it most likely will never happen. Just remember it is a team game. Oh and last time I checked, Lebron has lead the Cavs to a 36-27 record and couldn't even make the playoffs if they were in the west. I can understand about all thi | |
