WOW, I am shocked and stunned by your surreal response. 

If you are trully serious, you need to reread all of these threads.  You use curse words and bully (even though you oppose bullies) tactics to prove your point.  You far EXCEEDED calling me any amount of names. In the last response alone are more than 6 examples than any, please note the following:

• Yes,  my opinion is different than yours and I don't agree with using violence to resolve anything. 
• No, I called you an idiot because you openly stated that you "hit a woman" and you looked for acceptance for doing so.   Since when is doing a criminal act acceptable????

First and foremost I want to say this is a great thread that everyone has going and I wanted to throw my opinion out.

I think James Harrision has made a grave mistake, but I am not going to judge him on it if this turns out to be his only mistake of this sort. If it happens again, thats when you start judging him.

I for one have never hit, pushed, slapped or anything of that sort. I do not believe it is right and I will never condone it.

I don't know the whole story and I do not know the reasons that made him do it. No reason is a good enough reason to hit a woman but there are certain sceniros that I can see how it has happened, and even to people that are strong willed against the action.

Can any man guarentee that if he came home and his was wife was with another man in your bed, that you would not hit her? Your children are home, you just worked your ass off to support your family, you have poured your heart and soul into this women and done everything you could do for her.

Could you guarentee you wouldn't hit her?

I would like to think I would be the mature adult I am and just walk away, but like I said under extreme sceniros like I have just shown, nobody knows how they will react until they are in them.

I don't know if this was the case with James Harrision and I'm not saying it is. But unless it happens again or the full details of the incident are released, I do not want to judge the man.

Is what he did wrong regardless of the circumstances YES!! But does it make him a bad person? NO

Am I going to bet my life that I never would? No, there are certain cirumstances where I could see myself losing my temper to an extent that I might do so, but those are under extreme circumstances. If I did it once would I do it again? Hell no.....people can learn from their mistakes and sometimes learning the mistake can do more good than harm.

Does James Harrison feel bad? I don't know, but by the fact that is lawyer gave is apology I would say no.

I don't want people thinking I'm defending his actions because I'm not, I do not support it in any shape or form. But until everything is revealed, I'm not going to pass judgement.

Thanks for posting that - I do question the use of the words "Mature young man" in the article though..   It's  troubling that he hid behind his lawyer when offering up his apology - we all make mistakes, we all seek forgiveness.  But a "mature young man" would step up to the mic and apologize.. not hide.  That's my opinion - none judgemental...  Judge not yet yee be not judged.

and you are right about that parental thread..  it would be a long one..
