I would like to see Baxter come back from such an injury , but the Browns will need more than Baxter to help their D.

Baxter is just taking a roster spot for now. I don't know why they are fooling around with this guy. He will never play football again. The Browns are just showing the league that if you come play for us we will take care of you if we can.

the Browns are very kind to veterans and team contributors.  I can think of another team in their own conference that shreds team veterans when they find a replacement.

One big reason baxter is probably back is to give leadership to the secondary...pretty much the same reason Ken Dorsey is on the roster.  Out of all the browns surprise quality CB's they've put into the league as of late (Anthony Henry, Leigh Bodden)  I dont think i've seen one of them with as much talent as Brandon McDonald.  If the browns dont move someone to acquire a veteran to play the position i'd be hard pressed to see the browns start a midget who couldnt tackle in college over him.

If wright ends up covering all the tall elite wr's in the league it wont matter how much their DL has improved bc all the qb will have to do is lob it over them.

Ummm...You must didnt see those two rookies play last year...How tall is Asante Samuel, how tall is DeAngelo Hall, How tall is Dunta Robinson, they all 5-10 the same as the two "midgets" u mentioned.....so whats your point? Those corners i listed are some pretty good corners, so if the "midgets" play atleast as well as those guys, i can live with that!
