Can keep 2.  Lose pick for round taken last yr or round kept from previous yr.    Bulger rnd 9(  keeper since rookie season ), Frank Gore rnd 11 ( drafted rookie yr ), Ryan Grant rnd 15 last yr, and David Garrard rnd 16 last yr.  My keepers have been Gore and Bulger and i think they will out produce Garrard and Grant, but i can only keep Bulger for 1 more yr and Gore for 3.  Not sure if it is worth it in the long run to give either up since they are both proven players.  Rams and Niners schedules should be fairly soft this yr as well.

Gore and Grant are your keepers here.

Bulger was horrible last year because he did not have an O Line, and they still have not addressed that yet, and they lost Bruce.

Garrard is the young QB for a team that has 2 top 15 rb's on their roster, and they use them a lot!! Adding Porter and Williamson is not enough to drastically increase Garrard's value!!

Gore is the 49ers offense. They will use him on any down, and he rarely leaves the field. Martz is there now, and you better believe that he will use Gore like the Faulk of old.

Ryan Grant is your other keeper hands down!! Fvare is gone, and they have not brought in any kind of competition for Grant. He will be a HUGE part of the Packers offensive planning to keep the pressure off of their young QB Rodgers.

You will be keeping Gore in round 10 and Grant in round 14. This give you the ability to draft the best QB not kept in the early rounds, because you have 2 solid RB's already. A QB that has a lot more value than Bulger or Garrard.

I couldn't have said it any better.

Two solid RBs are a damn good foundation of a successful team. Depending on the scoring you can address WR of QB first in the draft and therefore ahead of other teams. Puts you in a great position!

Have you thought about shopping Bulger? Maybe you can get a nice draftpick for him?!?

Definitely keep Gore and Grant.  11th and 15th round picks are quite the steal for those two guys,  And like Flojam was saying, you can easily pick up a QB and a couple of WR's in the first three rounds and have the main core of your team set.

I have to agree with all of the above (though I prefer to be different ;) in going with Gore and Grant. Two fairly solid RB's who would be gone by end of round 2 or early 3- you can get another good QB 4th rnd on- so keeping RB's has to be priority in keeper leagues. Good luck with your team next season.

There's just one thing I wonder about - why the hell did you draft Grant last year??? No matter when your draft was (July, August or September), Grant was either #5 RB with the Giants or #4 at GB. And who would draft this RB?

It turned out great, but I don't understand the initial drafting.

I also drafted Wynn in the 18th( who i thought would emerge as the starter from that group....was just fairly certain that Jackson was not the answer )
