Sounds like a board with some honesty!! I'm game!
My Eagles have gotten better on paper. But releasing Takeo Spikes and leaving us with a very young linebacking core scares me some. If the Eagles don't put games away early when they are trying to get their feet underneathe them, it will be harder when they have gelled and are fighting for position. Donovan McNabb must stay healthy, whitout him, we're done. Asante Samuel was a great addition, but if we get rid of Lito Sheppard, we have no real depth. Not to mention, I am a firm believer that some players perform better depending on the system. Its wait and see for me as far as how well Samuel will do. Lots of teams looked better on paper last year, see the 49ers in the offseason. Then look what happened. Obviously the Eagles have a lot more chemistry, but I'm not banking on the offseason to take us to the promise land, playoffs maybe.
