Its a shame that a great game like this was decided by poor officiating.

It was like watch two great heavy-weight fighters going toe-to-toe into the fifteenth round, only to have the referee call the fight.

D'Antoni probably should have gotten two technicals and an ejection at the end of the game with his actions. The officials must have realized that he was right.

I am ashamed of anyone who is blaming this game on poor officiating, those same zebras who blew the charge call on Nash, (coulda went either way imo) gave hime two free throws for throwing a pass, they made no calls when Rodney Stuckey was blowing by Nash to the hole, and gave Amare free throws for shooting with one hand and holding Dice down with the other.

Shaq just needs his behind kicked, missing lay ups and free throws must be harder than ranting about officiating.

This game was called erroneously on both sides but it was the skill of the 2005 Finals MVP who brought it over the top for Detroit, instead of bashing the zebras, Shaq should tell it like it was that they could not contain Billups.

come on dont be a sore loser you guys got beat without our top scorer Hamilton.  If he was there it could of been another 30 point loss.  good game though.

Obviously a lot of bad calls went Detroit's way (for once). It's still good to see Detroit put up a fight without its leading scorer and having played just last night, even though I'm not too sure of the victor. However, don't act like NOTHING went the Suns way: Nash got two free throws in OT passing the ball and I remember a call going Amare's way because the officials blew a call on the previous possession.

It was a great game, some calls go your way some don't.

If Hamilton would have been there with his 30 points that means he would have taken his 30 from the other players on the team. It's called the law of averages MORON!

It's comments like that one that just increases the argument for birth control mandates based on IQ tests.

FINALLY!  The Pistons got a couple calls go their way.  I'm a Piston fan but when you argue nearly EVERY SINGLE CALL against you you're not going to get many for you.  This game was a rarity.  Not that the Pistons get called for more fouls than their opponents but they usually get called with every little touch foul and critical time foul.  It was nice seeing it go a different way for once.

This game shouldn't hurt the Suns.  They have to realize their 7 game winning streak came to an end due to bad officiating.  If anything this game can help them focus even harder and start maybe a 10 game streak.

And I will say one thing...as a Piston fan I can tell you this is NOT the same Suns team we blew out by 30 points a few weeks ago...

And I will say one thing.......this is NOT the same Suns team we blew out .......a few weeks agoI agree completely. The Suns looked good out there. It is a shame the officiating was as bad as it was, but atleast it was even across the board. Both teams recieved bad calls by the zebras. I will say though, as physical as the game was, Detroit had the upper hand. Phoenix is more a finesse team and Detroit is a hard nose type team. I think when in the grind, it allowed Detroit to play better. Also, Sheed actually looked good from down low once again. He did hit some three balls, but seemed to open up the middle more when he was on the block.
