Hey Gary Thanks so much for noticing. For those of you that have been peeking at our message boards, you know that we've been complainin' up a storm about the no coverage, no respect thing. I have been one of the biggest whiners around. Well, that all changed today, at least here on CBS Sportsnet.

ALL we ever wanted/expected was respect enough that you'd write a story about our team. Take a moment to get inside our program and try and figure out what the Badgers are all about. Everyone says the Badgers aren't that great a story. Well, I disagree, but admittedly I'm a huge fan and an alum. Hell, the kids have played well enough and the program is successful enough warrant the effort needed to find out maybe why.

Bo Ryan toils away in the depths of intercollegiate athletics, wins a ton of championships, goes to the school he once served as an assistant at (during the BLEAK years), gets the opportunity to take over a big-time program, and all he's done since he got here is win, win, win.

The players on Wisconsin, as it has been well stated, are not the kind of kids that are going to put themselves first, because Bo and his system won't allow it. Last year we had Tucker, an all-American and frankly we melted down at the end. The reason? The other kids grew and suddenly Tucker didn't mesh all that well in the Bo Ryan system. Yeah, he played great and I am thankful for what he did for the program, but he'd get his 28 pts. and it just didn't translate into big wins. This year the team as a whole is not going to stand around waiting for someone else to step up.

This team will be a handful for anyone from this point on. Like the last Badger installment that hung with North Carolina in the Elite 8, this team will hang with anyone. I just don't see them losing by more than a last minute basket from anyone . They learned from the Duke game, they learned from the two games against Purdue. They are a better team now than they were last week. That's Bo Ryan for ya. He just keeps expecting more and more, and gets it because he and the coaching staff are as good as you're going to find anywhere.

Gary, thanks for taking the time. I have a feeling you'll be writing a lot more about this Wisconsin team this time next week!

Go Badgers!

Thank you, thank you, thank you

Good article and a great post BadgerBear.  Wisconsin is what the Big 10 has always been and is suppose to be.

Go Badgers.  I believe they will be in the Final 4.

Thank you, thank you, thank you? I don't think so! Nearly every time the badgers get into some kind of national post they end up loosing. Does anyone remember last year when Alondo Tucker started to get huge attention in the Naismath race just before the tournament started.  Then Brian butch hurt his elbow.  Then the lost in the second round to UNLV.  I'm telling you this does not bode well for the badgers.  I'm not saying that they'll lose its just an observation.

Thank you, thank you, thank you

Hey coolschemy,

I am not sure how to put this, but have you noticed that every time a Badger fan posted about a supposed jinx, those people happened to find themselves somehow cursed themselves?

Seriously, this does not bode well for you, sorry to say.

If I were you, I would carry an umbrella at all times.

my jaw is still on the floor. Gary wrote something that isnt absolutely stupid? WHAT?! i almost believe that he means this, but then again if you looked at his top 25 +1 all year, wisconsin was SO TERRIBLY low ALL Year that it seems almost like gary drew the short straw and was forced to write this article. Oh well, give credit where credits due, and least he didnt  pull a hubert davis "i just dont see WESTconsin winning, t hey have no offense!" oh well.

thanks gary

on wisconsin!
