The Cowboys will probably win it, and then flop in the Playoffs again.

I am really surprised with all the love the Eagles are getting. They are not very good. They lack weapons and a solid QB.
Where have you been the last 8 years.....Donovan McNabb took the Eagles to 4 straight NFC title games and 1 Super Bowl appearance. Solid QB? When healthy Donavan McNabb is a TOP 5 QB!! There are only two starting QB's with a better winning percentage.... Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

The Giants pulled it together at the end of the year, but still the question remains, Is Eli going to be able to pull it together over a 16 game span rather than a 4 game span? They remind me of the Steelers run a couple of years ago. They got the hot hand and were not to be heard from again.Dallas will be the best team, the question is will they pull it together at the end of the year and in the playoffs? I think they will. As long as we have a healty WR core once playoff time hits, they could easily beat the Giants 3 times next year. With two first round picks we can stack up on depth at CB and effectivly be able to deal with 3 or 4 WR sets. If we get a Pacman Jones, talent wise they have no excuse not to be the number one seed and at least 13-3 again. I can't wait till the Boy's are hosting playoff games in the new stadium! I figure Philly could pull out another wild card. This is the toughest division and should be another season of great NFC East showdowns.

G MENNNNNNN win the NFC EAST WITH AN 11 - 5 record! the Redskins will start out 5 - 0 then promptly tank finishing with a 6 - 10 record... the Eagles will finish 8 - 8 after Donovan McNabb blows out both his acl and mcl... then the Cowboys will finish second, when Tony Romo sees his new girlfriend ( britney spears ) in the crowd, becomes distracted and throws a game deciding pick in the final game of the season.

In one man's humble opinion, the Giants have managed to set themselves up with a nice core of young players led by a good but not great QB and a defense that is just very good. I expect they can ride this into a division championship this year, with the Cowboys hot on their heels picking up a Wild Card spot. The Cowboys will get dispatched in the wild card round of the playoffs, sending Wade Phillips packing and Jason Garrett to the helm. The Giants are likely to return to the Super Bowl, as they are a cut above the rest of the NFC at this point.
Injuries notwithstanding, perhaps the Seahawks will go to and give the G-Men a game in the NFC Championship Game in New York...I do not see anyone rising out of the North or South Divisions with the Brett Favre retirement. The North will be a mess with all four teams probably finishing in the 9-7 to 7-9 range...not sure who will emerge there, but they will likely beat the Cowboys in the first round of the playoffs and get waxed by the Giants in the next round. The South Champ, probably the Panthers if Delhomme is healthy, Saints or Bucs if he is not, will win their Wild Card playoff game over either a 9-7 or 8-8 team from the West or the North, then lose to the Seahawks.
I just do not see anyone who can play with a healthy Giants team in the NFC this year.

" Eagles win the division by a game or two over Dallas. "
So you think the Eagles are going to go 14-2 this year? Dallas has an easier schedule this year, and a better team. I predict, that Dallas will split with two teams in the NFC East, and sweep the other. (I made the same prediction last year, and was right).
I think the Eagles are better than their record was last year, and should be back in contention. But they won't win the division. It will take a 13 or 14 win season to win the division.

The Cowboys were obviously the better team in 07 and will continue to be the best team in the NFC East for years to come. Most people will say that the Giants D-line dominated the playoff game when in reality the Cowboys dropped two sure touchdown passes and one touchdown pass was over thrown. As for 08 look for the arrival of Pacman and Ocho Cinco to pretty much guarantee a SuperBowl victory. Oh yeah hopefully they do the smart thing and don't pick Run DMc.

"I do know very litle about the Giants organization, but nothing in your entire paragraph defends my statement about Coughlin. Sorry, I just don't believe Coughlin's "style" is one to build championships on."
Hey, Cowgirls fan, I'm puking in my mouth as I type this semi-defense of Coughlin, but are you, as a Cowboys fan, talking about another team's coach's inability to win championships? Why don't you worry about your squad getting one who can win a SINGLE playoff game? Wade Phillips is a joke. Cowboys fans, for the most part, are without a doubt the biggest collection of dopes in the world.

Yeah, you wouldn't want the Sperminator to break up the team unity TO, Pacman Jones and Chad Johnson would've worked so hard to create.
I hope Dallas does go get Jones and Johnson. They can slot Dallas practice sessions between One Life to Live and the Young and the Restless.

EVERY BODY IS GETTING THE QUESTION WRONG. the Giants are TEAM in this division the word is team. the Cowboys think they have the best talent in the division and are WRONG. the giants have the best talent and are deep in every single position. the cowboys are nothing without t.o . the giants are still very good without plax they are 2 deep at tightend, a explosive receiver, very good posession receivers(smith, toomer) . crayton sucks by the way. witten stays in to block half the time with that old o line.you have one good pass(ware) we have four(strahan ,osi, tuck, kiwi) cornerbacks are about the same, very good special teams and one thing you cant buy HEART.

i agree with some of the ppl in their messages. 1. the NFC is too week their are no better teams than the Giants to make a wildcard run. 2. the Giants are young look at who made their impact, Ross, Boss, Bradshaw, Smith, Alford, Johnson, Deossie. All these players were rookies last yr their going to have more experience Eli will have less pressure and everyone is just going to perform better its a simple pick they get into the playoffs maybe not as a division winner but as a wildcard winner ya

I went with the Cowboys just based on talent. I can't help but feel like the Giants caught Lighting in a bottle, and arn't likely to do it 2 years in a row. I admire Andy Reid, but it may be time for a fresh start for everybody, and I just think Washington is screwed as long as that idiot owns them.

The Cowboys look like the most complete team and will improve. I hate saying it but they win it in a close battle with NY.
NY is good. They have Eli who I think will only improve as a QB after the SB. The team as a whole just isn't as strong as Dallas but they come in a close second.
Philly...I won't be shocked if Donovan gets hurt, they rely on a back up, somehow make the playoffs with the back up, Donovan rushes back and loses. It's like the same story every year. Why the let go Takeo Spikes is still something I disagree with. They are, when McNabb is healthy, a 9-7 team at the least. The D is good and Westbrook is without a doubt, the best all purpose RB in the NFL. Yes, better than LT.
Washington. Rebuilding really. At the best 8-8 IMHO. I do expect this division to be the AFC South of last year. The worst team not really being very bad. They do have a couple years but they will be a force then, not now.

No. I think the Eagles will go 11-5 as they are today. If they add a top-flight WR in the draft or through a trade, I can see them going 12-4. You'll have to take my word for it, but their defense is going to be as good as it was in the early part of the decade this season. They've got three or four lightning quick LBs who are going to make life a living hell for opposing RBs and TEs.
Where exactly have the Cowgirls improved since last year? Far as I can tell, they lost Julius Jones and haven't added very much. Maybe I'm wrong. I don't follow Dallas too closely. The Eagles have added a top 5 CB and a quick pass-rushing end in Chris Clemons who had 8.5 sacks in just 2 starts with Oakland last season.
And the NFC East teams' schedules are very comparable. Go back a few pages and someone laid the schedule strengths out very nicely.
Tony Romo blows. That's why Dallas will not win the division. He stinks. Period. Plus, TO has got to be close to his next breakdown.
