you chose

infield: first four rounds you go for a 1B, 2B, 3B, and SS.

outfield: first four rounds you go for a OF, OF, OF, and a Utility player

this applies to a draft were you wouldnt pick a pitcher or catcher in the first four rounds, i also know that it depends on what pick you have but just chose what position you have in your head and then answer infield or outfield.

the draft position i always think about when i think of a random draft is like 3rd or 4th for some reason.

i always go for infield because i think that getting a good infield is hard to do, while you can pick up outfielders in the later rounds.

what do you guys think? please talk to me.....

Not sure what you're asking but I agree that you can pick up OF in later rounds.

SS is definitely a scarce position but you got 3 to choose from in round 1, if you can get your hands on one.

2B is also scarce

1B is very deep. But if you have Howard staring you in the face, get him!
3B is also pretty deep but again, if you have Arod/Wright/Miggy in front of you, go for them!

Tons of OF guys that can start.  After the first 10 or 15 outfielders you have a bunch of guys not that far apart.  Just at third base alone your 10th guy is like a Chipper Jones, Figgins or Beltre.

infield first although if victor is availabe in the fourth i'll take him. you can always find oufielders or someone like upton who qualifies at both. i did draft Michael Young in the seventh round in a couple of leagues. J.J. Hardy was also available late also.

I usually try to get 2 power infielders then two power outfielders. I drafted Wright and Pujols (who i later traded with byrnes for ortiz and martin) and then soriano and vlad.
