We're looking pretty good for recruitng so far this year. Number 32 in the nation Our big land so far is Josh Haden, who is an all purpose back. If we can land Streeter, Johnson, Abrams-Ward, or another big name this could be a great class for us.

I havent payed much attention to recruiting in previous years. Is this a good year for BC in terms of recruiting? I sort of got the impression that BC doesnt ever land 5 star players and that they are just good at making the best out of their 3 star players?
And #32, even though BC always finishes better than that, recruiting often doesnt match well with rankings....???

I read a article on foxsports.com and they ranked BC as the #23 class I have seen  multiple reports saying BC has a top 25 class this year if coach Jagz can keep up with solid recruiting BC will become a solid contender and prove that coach Jagz was the right choice. lets see if we can get some last second recruits that are ranked highly.

Usually, the Stars aren't always good indicators.

Matt Ryan had 3 stars.

The stars indicate how strong the player will be in college next year. College football is really 5 years (counting redshirts). A 5 star is ready to play as a freshman, 4 as a soph etc. A 3 star like Ryan can be a 5 star two years later. A lot of it is guessing but usually a 5 star will be a pretty quick starer whereas the lower ranked players usually have to mature to become starters. Position changes help some players. David Pollock at Georgia was a 3 star fullback. I wouldn't worry about the number of stars if you get the type player you want and there properly coached. It seems BC is doing a pretty good job of producing good teams. I seem to remember that UGA has won 9 of its last 11 bowl games and one of the loses was to BC. Good Luck and beat the crap out of Clemson.

Well, I think kicking Brady Smith off the squad will create a problem for BC, because obviously the Eagles will now have difficulties recruiting more rapists.

I think the ACC is helping BC recruits. BC now gets more 3 stars then in the passed. So rather then making a 1 star a 3 star. Now the start with 3 stars and hope for a Matt Ryan, Dejuan Tribble, Godus Cherlius.
