Which Angels did you draft?

Hey Angel Fans!

Just thought I would throw this out there for you fantasy owners.  It's always a hard decision to draft the "better player" instead of an availabe Angels player during a fantasy draft.  Luckily, the "better player" actually is the Angels player more and more often lately.  But the dilemma of drafting your favorite players over drafting the best fantasy team never goes away.  Which Angels did you end up drafting?  I've got 4 of them. 

Vladdy - One of my Keepers

Matthews - Late round steal I think. 

Lackey - Had him and Escobar last season.  Didn't select them as keepers but grabbed him back up in the first round. 

Santana - I still believe in his 16 win 2006 season.  Think he'll win 20 this season, but nobody else does because he was still there for my LAST pick. 

Almost grabbed up Napoli as my #2 (still might - wasn't drafted).  Saunders also went undrafted but I didn't have room for him.  Just got picked up yesterday by another team. 

How about you?

I was happy with my draft overall and thought my Angels picks were all very good values.

1. Casey Kotchman - 252nd overall pick and my 2nd first baseman
2. Joe Saunders - my last pithcer taken and gotten in the next to the last round
3. Mike Napoli - pick off waiver wire the day after the draft.

I also picked up 2 past Angels in Orlando Cabrera and Troy Glaus (purely sentimental)

I have a ton of Angels in most of my fantasy leagues,  but the one that matters to me most is my money league and this is what it looks like.

I each player will help me make a little bit of money this season.

I had a disappointing draft in terms of getting Angels on my team. I got Figgy around the 11th or 12th round and Kendrick in one of the last rounds as a backup second baseman. That's it.

I usually have 3 or 4 but this year they were all picked higher than I had them ranked. K-Rod went in the first round. Vlad in the beginning of the second. Hunter in the 6th. Lackey dropped to the 3rd because of the injury but that was too high for me considering the uncertainty of his injury. I missed picking up Saunders because of waiver priorities.

Mathews, Anderson, Napoli, Santana, and Escobar are still on the waiver wire, however, so if someone on my team goes down I might be able to add an Angel or two.

When it comes to Angels in my 25 man roster of just AL i got 5 of em.

I got Vladdy, Kendrick, Lackey, Matthews, and picked up at the end for cheap.  I was pretty happy with the Angels i got this year.  Woulda liked to get Torii Hunter considering I liked him even before he was an Angel.  I'm excited for this season!
