Back at you cassells: "acrossed" ????

I have to own that one.  I thought it was a real word.  Who knows how many times I've used it in the past.

I shall endeavor not to use it again.  (Unless I put it in my advartar).

You're dogging this guy for misspelling "proposed" (looks like you missed the misspelling of "border" in the thread title)? Every sentence in your post has at least one misspelled word in it. Me thinks you need some help.

It's PROPOSED, not propossed.

Are they going to build one acrossed the Canadian boarder, too?  That's where some of the Terrorists crossed the boarder, is it not?

How do you fence a nearly vertical mountainside?  Those occur not too far from Tiajuana.

I think I mentioned "boarder" was someone who rents a room.

Perhaps I should have put it in italics to be sarcastic?

I have seen estimates of the costs of illegal immigrants on U.S. infrastructure (see my previous post) that extend well into billons of dollars. Wouldn't spending millions of dollars for a fence be a good trade-off for billions in less taxes paid?

Are YOU ready to pay $5 for an avocado?  $10 for a tomato? $500 to get your lawn mowed?  $700 to eat out in a decent place?  (peek into who is actually cooking back there sometime).

Or did you mean less taxes paid by the illegal immigrants?  Because many of them do pay taxes.

I don't eat avocadoes, tomaoes grow here too, and here's  thought...mow your own damn lawn.  Maybe even with a push mower, beer belly Bob.

About 366,000 returns were filed using individual taxpayer identification numbers in 2001, according to IRS data from that year, the most recent information available. People with the tax numbers reported wages of almost $7 billion and paid almost $305 million in taxes, according to the IRS.
